  1. Development Info Age of Decadence: a new combat video

Love the video and the ending was a great. Looking better all the time. As far as Odium I bought it cheap and loved the couple dozen hours I spent playing. Though I never finished it like most games I buy. I lost interest.
  2. Interview Mysteries of Westgate interview at RPG Watch

Wow, if this is as good as it sounds this is going to be one shocker of a Fall. Three freaking games with not only C&C but done well... whats next?
  3. Interview GameBanshee interviews Jason Anderson

denizsi, from what I also remember reading (last year or earlier this one) the first twenty levels are single-player then you branch out into the MMOGness of it. But from what I understand the single-player is also online. I'll know more tomorrow
  4. Review The Witcher reviewed right here, at the Codex

Trying to be as vague as I can be as not to ruin anything. I would say there is the one investigation quest. And it takes longer than some care for. Though I enjoyed it. Also the entire main plot is something of an investigation in itself to find who is behind the events of the Prologue...
  5. Interview GameBanshee interviews Jason Anderson

I beta tested Tabula and it's good at being horrible... nothing more to say about it. Just blah. I went from the Tabula Rasa beta to the Hellgate beta to the AoC beta. And I am worried that Conan will be just as poorly implemented as the other two. But since I have spent no more...
  6. Review The Witcher reviewed right here, at the Codex

GoGamer.Com is based in Cali and has the Import. Not sure on the pricing at the moment but it was fair when I purchased my copy before the NA release. Edit: Here are the three version they offer: http://www.gogamer.com/searchresults.ht ... yId=444758 Has anyone bought the Collector's...
  7. Review The Witcher reviewed right here, at the Codex

If I interpret your questions meaning correctly.... **** Warning some slight spoilers you have probably already read elsewhere. **** The game has some fairly large levels but they can be somewhat confining so don't expect it to be like that other sand-box game with the extremely shallow...
  8. Review The Witcher Review

If you haven't started play I would wait until the next patch is released because it will most likely require a restart anyway. To increase load and save game slow downs keep your number of saves to a reasonable number. I noticed as I progressed deeper into the game without cleaning out old...
  9. Review The Witcher Review

Damn, good review. You should be ashamed of yourself! You not only sounded reasonable but you didn't tell us much about yourself or how you hate certain aspects of real-life. Plus I found it most repulsive that you actually finished this game before writing such a well rounded review/opinion...
  10. Review The Witcher reviewed right here, at the Codex

A game can't have everything that everyone wants... that would make it an Oblivion knock-off. And put it in the running for "best game evar" status. And as we all know there can be only one! No seriously. This game is a story taken from the books (from what I have read time and time again)...
  11. Development Info The Witcher 1.2 patch and demo dates

I just hope they tighten up the scripting a bit... or loosen it should I say in the add-on or sequel. I love the game so far and I am nearing the end. Not the neutral one I assume since I chose sides early on. Anyway I wish the jarring scripted events that lead into and out of cut scenes...
  12. Review The Escapist bitch-slaps The Witcher

Yes, the fact that the author has a lite grasp of reality has been discussed in length.
  13. Review The Escapist bitch-slaps The Witcher

What blows my mind are the people who think his review was good in some way. It's not a review period. It's an opinion piece. Even he claims that now. He gives little to no info about the game in that piece beside the fact that he refuses to play a game without leaving the real-world and his...
  14. Community The Witcher Wiki

Sweet! Thanks. This game is one of my top cRPGs of all time. If not the Best Game Evar... at this moment. :) It's just sad how the media whores can cut this game down for flaws they over-look in their highest scoring titles. Can't wait to see what they can do on their next release since...
  15. Game News The Poles are watching us

Besides the recent release of MotB there hasn't been a RPG of this caliber for too many years. Yes, the load times are a bit long but what makes it worse is the auto save tacked on when ever you transition after a quest flag is triggered. Even so The Witcher is one of the best cRPGs I have...
