Indie Heroes of a Broken Land

Is it possible that the mechanisms for making these class upgrades don't spawn in every world?

Indie Heroes of a Broken Land

Yeah, I thought about that after I posted. It's not bad the way it is, just annoying when I acccidently unequip something trying to compare stats. The item stat pop ups will be handy. I must be missing something obvious on the class upgrades. I've explored complete maps and never found any...

Indie Heroes of a Broken Land

Item stats wuld be a nice addition. One thing about items: the ones that add HP and MP just increase your capacity, they don't actually add the hp and mp when you put them on. That's fine, but when you are trying out diferent equipment, and then put it back on, you end up losng the bonus...

Information Heroes of a Broken Land Announced: Turn-based Multiple Party RPG

Liking the UI updates. Is it just me, or has the world generation gotten better? Before, I would end up with a lot of low level dungeons surrounding my base, and my parties would quickly get too high of a level to make them worthwhile. Now there just seems to be one of each level close by...

Information Heroes of a Broken Land Announced: Turn-based Multiple Party RPG

Ah, sorry. I downloaded the demo yesterday from your page. I assumed it would be the latest but it was v5.1. I'll move to the v5.3 browser version and see what I can break. :) Having a lot of fun with it for sure.

    "Down time" in RPG's

Not an RPG, but the Bladerunner game from Westwood had a cool atmosphere. I would usually hang out on the apartment balcony while I figured out where to go next.

Information Heroes of a Broken Land Announced: Turn-based Multiple Party RPG

I went ahead and downloaded the windows version to get my fix. It's a nice game. I hope it does well for you. A few things I've found so far, if you are interested in more reports: There is some weirdness with the save games in the multi-party dungeons. It saves just fine, but when you...

Anybody else having trouble loading saved games in the browser version demo? All I get is the music and a black screen.

Looking for a humanoid animation tool

Makehuman doesn't currently have posing capabilities that I am aware of. It is an interesting tool for generating the model though, if you have need of it. One tool that comes to mind is Daz3D. It is similar to Poser, and has a free version. It comes with free models, and you can also...

    Birth of the Empires

Anybody know where you can download this now? All the download links lead to a Joomla web installer page which blocks access to the files. Edit: nvm...can get it from the German forum http://www.forum.birth-of-the-empires.de./viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1673&sid=6828a2bc0f246a0e3c6f74981bb80209

So it's time I come clean here...

Thank God the Codex doesn't come with a nude mod.

    ToEE is fucking awesome bros

I liked Homlett. I wish I lived there. From a licensing standpoint, I doubt another official 3.5 game will ever be licensed (why would they?). Once you take the ruleset implementation out of the combat engine, you lose a lot of what made it great. About the only thing a serious developer...

World Five. How are you doing.

I've got a little hermit claim going, but I'm bored with it. Removing Mordor took a lot away from the game. Without a higher level wilderness to explore and claim, it's just basically logging in to do chores. The FEP adjustments blow. I can't work off enough hunger to gain FEP without...

World Five. How are you doing.

I got gang-banged by cows. Just had to get one more Auroch hair... There is a bizzare village next to me. About 4 times the size of Nova Kodexia in World 2. Nothing but an epic palisade with a few houses in the middle and some crops. Just a big, huge, mostly unclaimed palisade. Very...

Strategy games where the AI doesn't cheat?

The AI in Armageddon Empires doesn't cheat, although you can select an option to give starting bonuses if you want. On Ironman mode, it can sometimes give you a tough game, although that has more to do with the luck of the card draws than it does a great AI.
