    Incline Colony Ship RELEASE THREAD

Sure, at times the descriptions could be shortened. But I didn't feel like I had unmanageable info dumps thrown at me. I mean, after playing PoE I have developed a strong allergy to filler text, and it didn't trigger while playing the game... I agree that they could have trimmed 20% of the fat...

    Incline Colony Ship RELEASE THREAD

Just finished the game and really enjoyed it. The last time I was so hooked was JA3. And the time before that... ummm... can't really remember. The pros: - Good writing. Concise most of the time, and verbose when necessary. - Good combat. - Good graphics and soundtrack (pity that there are only...

PC game collecting community rocked by game forgery scandal

I personally don't see a difference between this case and selling someone a fake watch. I think that if someone buys a Rolex, receives a fake one, and when returns to the store to complain, he is told "who cares? you didn't notice it was fake when you bought it, did you?", he would be pissed...

Incline ATOM RPG: Trudograd - standalone expansion sequel to ATOM RPG

Just finished Trudograd. Great game. Definitely scratched that fallout itch. Something that Encased couldn't do. The gameplay, quests and writing are good. Graphics are great. Voice acting is.... well, A for effort I guess. Another thing I want to mention is the quest log. It is very well made...

    Serious Sam 4

So this is where we disagree. I don't think that the end result is "meh". I think it's a very good shooter because it is strong in the parts which matter (gameplay), and weak in the parts that matter much less (graphics). So the weighted average of the quality is much higher than average.

    Serious Sam 4

Just finished the game. Great game overall. Not sure why it was poorly received on the Codex. A lot of enemies, cool guns, great music, large arenas (for the most part), dual wielding, alternate fire modes... And unlike nuDoom, where you carry less ammo than a mall cop, here your ammo count is...

best/ favorite style of exploration (liner-sandbox spectrum)

Isometric games - free roaming (like original fallouts) First person games - hub based exploration (like bloodlines) Open world first person games usually turn into a walking simulator really fast...

    Innovation in RPG genre

Interesting. I did not know that. Regardless, when you open a door, and the goon behind it has an "interrupt score" or whatever it's called higher than you - you're dead meat...

    Innovation in RPG genre

Agreed. Small innovations like enhancing speech skills are welcome. However, there are still many "old school" mechanics that haven't reached their full potential. For example, I'd pay good money to play a new JA-like game with more or less the same mechanics, but with improved interrupt...

RPG's you didn't like intially, but ended up enjoying a lot

In my experience, few RPGs' quality increases the more you play. Usually, it's the other way around - strong beginning, but a weak ending.

On D&D adaptations. Which lv range do you prefer?

My favorite level range is above the levels when you can accidently die from a bad case of diarrhea (up to lvl 3). And below the levels when an enemy mage looks at you and you get an immediate heart attack (lvl 13 and up).
