  1. Eternity Pillars of Eternity II Beta Thread [GAME RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

I'm gonna play it and enjoy it, ignoring all the drama and just having a bunch of fun. And probably back the next one too, if they go that route.
  2. KickStarter BATTLETECH - turn-based mech combat from Harebrained Schemes

The game is tons of fun. Too much fun, unfortunately. I was supposed to write like, 10 pages for a scientific study I'm involved with during the last week. I got about half of that done, at most.
  3. Game News BattleTech Released

Liking it a lot so far. The game only really opens up after a few missions though, and I wish you could skip those first ones where you have to learn the ropes, mainly because I already learned them in the beta. I really whinge whenever I lose a mechwarrior, or a particularly nice piece of gear...
  4. Game News Pillars of Eternity II Fig Update #16: Ships, Stretch Goals and DLC

3.5 already happened, and the two final days always bring a lot of extra cash when people get their final pledges in. They'll reach 4 for sure at this rate at the very least, possibly upwards of 4.5 if we're lucky.
  5. Divinity or Eternity?

I liked both, but Pillars is my favorite. Rolling up new parties is always a treat, and even though the initial areas of the game will soon bore me from overplaying them, I love the combat in general and exploration in particular.
  6. Pillars of Eternity Thread [Pre-Expansion]

Almost done with Act 2 on Path of the Damned, just have some more trudging through the Endless Paths and that sidequest for the Magran priestess to get done. It is an entirely different game to my Normal run, almost makes me wish I'd played that first.
  7. Game News Deus Ex: Mankind Divided revealed in May issue of Game Informer

Bit unsure about the mashing of endings, but honestly wasn't much else they COULD do given how that usually turns out, and I was a fan of it with Invisible War.
  8. Most evil enemies in a game?

The dog from Duck Hunt. Never have I fought such an impossible foe, and his laugh still haunts me.
  9. Game News Shadowrun: Hong Kong Kickstarter Update #23: $1M raised, mini-campaign stretch goal unlocked

This will probably close out at about 1.2 million at this rate, which isn't too shabby. Would've hoped for more considering how competent these guys are at delivering what they promised, but the extra money past the last goal will at least be useful for fixing any issues or boosting whatever...
  10. Review RPG Codex Review: Dragon Age: Inquisition

The good bits of this game are really good. Unfortunately, they're stuck under a pile of repetitive fights and boring exploration and gathering. Unlike say Mass Effect 3, where I could barely be made to care through the game at all, beyond one or two scenes, this put some effort into its main...
  11. Game News Underworld Ascendant Kickstarter is LIVE

I hope this is 75 dollars well spent. And that the backing will pick up a little after a few more hours.
  12. Game News Shadowrun: Hong Kong Kickstarter Update #10: $600k raised, three more stretch goals unlocked

It got a boost of about 35k so far, maybe 27-28 more than they would've gotten otherwise. Hoping more kitten-backers check their updates and go for it, since I'd rather see the Matrix revamp (and more goals) sooner.
  13. Shadowrun Shadowrun: Hong Kong Pre-Release Discussion [GO TO NEW THREAD]

In for 75 so far, hoping to up that to 100 at least if they tack on add-ons.
