    Dominions is basically what I imagined the peak magic strategy game to be, a ton of spells, character creation and customization, loads of units and mechanics. Its Master of Magic on steroids.

    Yea I basically gave up on mages doing what I expected them to do ages ago. AOE is the way to go (it stil misses often). And then some rando fuck S mage offscript will soul slay your pretender sometimes...

    Well if she is supposed to hold the gate then sure but fire shield can never be bad and the item giving it is solid too. Also bane fire shield obviously, if that was possible to give... Man, bane fire shield is awesome.

    Give her fire shield and flying and have her attack mounted or fliers or whatever thats not skeletons (rear?). Could work.

    Used to be PBEM nonsense but now we have dedicated servers so you just connect from the game and thats it. Very easy. Anyway I am obviously in.

    I mean they are shitty mages but they are also demigod elves with sky high stats. Even without equipment with a few self buffs and bless they could mow down those lobos for sure. If he scripted them to cast well thats a huge mistake.

    Not to toot my own horn but I won EA Hinnom game where 6 players gang banged me and I was down to 2 unsieged forts and 7 provinces. And he is fighting Rlyeh so that barely counts...
