Eternity Avowed - Obsidian's first person action-RPG in the Pillars of Eternity setting - coming Fall 2024

Looks like an okay Skyrim clone I could sink some time into as a "turn your brain off game." Thankfully I have game pass so I won't need to spend a single dime on it.

    inXile General Discussion Thread

Wasteland 2 was my first ever CRPG experience and I had a thoroughly good time playing through it. I have a soft spot for InXile, and they are the people who got me into the genre, but I would be lying if I found Torment and Wasteland 2 a little tough to go back to after playing the essentials...

The RPG that pissed you off the most

Divinity Original Sin 2 is MILES better than the first one and it is not even close. Game gets unbelievably tedious by the second half and I just had to put it down 50 hours in.

    Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Regardless of how good the game is (I own it but I have yet to play it), that Dunkey video will forever cloud my perception of this game.

    The Dragon Quest Thread

A good way through my replay of Dragon Quest XI S and I was right about this being one of the best JRPGs of the 9th generation. Arguably it is my favorite JRPG ever, probably really only contending with Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. It's easily the best Dragon Quest game I've ever played...

Outward - open world RPG where you are an ordinary adventurer and survival is harsh

I got a copy of the game about 2 years back and I still haven't even started it up. I'm not necessarily afraid super challenging Action RPGs, and KC:D was one of my favorite games over the past couple of years- but something about it has just kept me away from it and I have absolutely no idea why.

    The Dragon Quest Thread

Even if the game was ass, the Japanese market is going to eat that shit up. But if the absolutely stellar quality of Dragon Quest 11 is anything to go off of, I trust Dragon Quest 12 to be an awesome game whether or not it sticks to its roots as a traditional turn based JRPG.

What's the best game made by sega?

You are correct on both points. The Genesis was not much of a hit in Japan, selling only 3.5 million by 1995, whereas the Saturn doubled that, and outsold the N64 in Japanese markets by a few million. Of course, it was dwarfed by the insane sales figures of the PSX, but that's not surprising at...

What's the best game made by sega?

Really, the last SEGA console that saw success outside of Japan was the Genesis. The Saturn was an absolute flop coming in at around 3 million sold in the states (9.26 sold worldwide) and the Dreamcast sold 5 million in the states and 9.13 million worldwide making it SEGA's worst selling...

What's the best game made by sega?

Skies of Arcadia, in my opinion. Super fun JRPG from the Dreamcast era. I have my copy on the Gamecube and it is a game I go back to constantly.

GreedFall II: The Dying World - prequel with party-based RTwP combat where native PC travels to the old continent

Another boring as fuck Action RPG from the company known for making Boring Action RPGs, wooooo.
