  1. BG2 / TES Arena / Wiz8 / thousands of other RPGs huge update

Ver. 1.01: - fixed a bug that caused the "spawn eight lvl15 monsters" button to be incorrectly named "rest".
  2. 1eyedking So, I just played Metal Gear Boredom

Each of the first three games does have severall cutscenes that can last more than one hour, not to mention that sometimes, 2 or 3 of them are separated by a very short gameplay interval. And you also have to take into account the numerous radio conversations that can last the same length. I do...

  4. Gametrailers cRPG GOTY

I admit I have no't played a lot of jRPGs, but there were a lot of puzzles in them. To tell the truth, they were often the only real challenge, because of how arbitrary they are, like having to guess in wich order you must trigger five levers scattered around a dongeon before placing crates...
  5. Let's play - Hearts of Iron 2!

My vote goes for Finland as well, the winter war is really pretty passionating. Poland is trapped between two warmonger monsters and won't last long at all.
  6. The Codex Top 10, take 2

I don't post very often here so I am not sure if my opinion counts, but still : 1 Planescape : Torment 2 Gothic 2 + Night of the Raven 3 Vampire the Masquerade : Bloodlines 4 Gothic 3 5 Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 : the Sith Lords (now that's a long title) 6 Jade Empire...

I am speechless... This guy is awesome : Not that Kotor was extraordinarily good, but he says that like if it was exactly the way not to go. Ngmf. What ? I won't bother quoting everything. This guy is such a idiot than no word could express it (exept his posts, that is).
  9. Interview Teh White Council intarview at CVG

At least it is a better RPG than Oblivion, look at the (rare) good sides.
  10. What idiots

"Good" in the sense of "simple and immediate fun", I guess. But I still don't trust this game. In term of generic-heroic-fantasy-fake-RPG-where-you-wander-power-up-and-do-quests, I am more confident for The White Council, because at least, in the plots, I know I will have the impression of...
  11. New Todd Howard Interview

One of the worst things of the scenario are the pauses : "sorry, the plot cannot advance, you have to gather the stellar m-///jedi mast-/// imperial recomm-/// ARTIFACTS !" When the plot is already crap, that won't help. Gathering stuff is not a problem, but only if doing so, you make the plot...

  13. Review Space Rangers 2 lubbin' at 1Up

Depends wich one. I for one am absolutly for a mostly fixed world where you have to "unlock" the locations through something else that arbitrary events. Basically, "you perfectly do have the right to go there, even if you are weak. Use your freedom to get anihilated".
  14. Game News Oblivion official patch released

Haha ! Let me rephrase :
  15. Interview NWN2: MCA interview at TVG

Intriguing way, indeed, to make sure their game will sell. But past has proven it works... Is that what he meant by the "usefulness to the community" ?
