  1. Baldur's Gate series mods

Ok, so it does seem like the fun starts in BG2. Man, is the narrator's voice fucking annoying or what?
  2. Baldur's Gate series mods

Any thoughts on Shadows Over Soubar, or check the bodies?
  3. Baldur's Gate series mods

I know this has been mentioned somewhere here, but I can't seem to find it... Anyway, I want to replay the bg series, but I never played them with any mods, could anyone tell me what good mods and tweaks I should get? I played every bg game and addon vanilla, so I don't mind mods, that one that...
  4. Development Info BRIIIIAAAAAAANS!

    Old news, it's already been done http://www.sigma-team.net/games/action/ ... ooter.html :P
  5. BG 2, ToB Appreciation Thread

Without a force of comparison even BG is epic. That said, people who play too much will consider nearly everything shit in comparison to another game they proclaim as the true summit of awesome.
  6. Game News The Witcher :: Super-Mega Fucking Awesome Edition

I read somewhere that they closed down the console project and moved the team to work on part 2? I thoroughly enjoyed the witcher, I haven't been playing any new RPG games for 2 years and that contributes greatly to my experience, but even without this hunger I had I would still say it's a...
  7. Arcanum: How to find Ashbury if you can't ride the train.

The guy should know better than to ask for tips for arcanum. I mean, this forum is mostly about posting pictures of half naked fat bearded men sitting on sofas with eerie smiles. Somewhere in between these kind of threads someone posts something about Fallout 3, Dragon Age or Grimoire.
  8. Alpha Protocol steals memes from Russian /b/

    Looks like Exitium
  9. Jagged Alliance for the DS

I've just watched a gameplay video on youtube and it looks like a JA 1 port with some interface changes, music and other minor things. But the engine is JA 1. I know that some people might be disappointed but it's still quite a good game.
  10. Jagged Alliance for the DS

But deadly games was a different game using the same engine. It progressed with various missions with turn limits instead of micromanaging your mercs and freeing the island. As far as I've seen its just a JA 1 port.
  11. Jagged Alliance for the DS

I remember that, was quite funny. Needle was pretty good too, better marks than fox.
  12. Jagged Alliance for the DS

The first one was very basic in terms of mechanics. No stance changes and very little weapons. There were however lots of mercs and a pretty big gameworld, you captured territories on an island, trained militia and employed farmers to milk sectors of some kind of valuable plant. I don't think...
  13. Help me to play Arcanum

You only need the dog as follower, on higher levels he chews through brute fangs as if they were paper. Tech melee is very effective as well, a well designed dwarf tech fighter is devastating. Once you have the pyro axe nothing can stand in your way.
  14. Game News Fallout 3: Aliens - Since Vampires weren't Enough

But that's where the alien blaster comes from you fools. You got abducted by aliens but escaped from captivity, got hold of one of their blasters and teleported it through time for the Vault Dweller to find. Beth is just filling in the all important gaps in Fallout history for us. At least show...
  15. Deus Ex for Graphic Whores

I tried to play DX ages ago when the first opengl patch came out. Even though I am a diehard RPG gamer I found the game too overwhelming in substance and too simplistic in graphics. I was always more fantasy than scifi as well. I know I missed a cult classic, but being 26 now with a job and...
