  1. Wolfenstein

I've been playing this and it feels like Far Cry 2 sans vehicles. Very tired of the adventuring between missions, trying to remember names and locations and upgrading weapons just like every other game of the moment. I don't want 5 or 6 different modifications on my gun that sound interesting...
  2. What's your guilty gaming pleasure?

Never really a series for plot substance, but lovely all the same. Lush game mechanics. I can affirm that it does feel good 'n' proper when taking down a chopper, even if it is kind of interwoven into the mission's objectives. Just a shame WaW broke the continuity/good progress. Treyarch need...
  3. What's your guilty gaming pleasure?

    / Gaming in general.
  4. Why do people like the Halo games so much?

Thought provoking: link Doubtless this has been referenced before, but just in case.
  5. Call of Duty: World at Yawn

Some ammunition is shared between weapons, but what? You can't base CoD 4 on its SP anyway. WaW so far seems like a bypass. A pre-fix before Infinity Ward dishes out some more of what they pioneered in the first place.
  6. Review Chefe does Fallout 3

Playing skirmish with a Deathclaw is rather fun. i.e. Set up a bottle-cap mine, flank that with some frag mines for good measure, run forth and tease with a few .32 rounds, retreat and +50.
  7. Fallout 3... is fucking ugly?

Realism is a tricky one. The word is only applied when it has overwhelming positive connotations for the game.
  8. A good Fallout 3 review

Out with the old, in with the new.
  9. Far Cry 2, Still looking pretty cool.

...And so the general consensus for this game is?
  10. What makes Morrowind superior to Oblivion?

Oblivion was designed for every man and his dog. Console embellishment of the highest order (coming from a 360-user). That said, I was hyped and took to the game immensely upon release. Looking back now, however, it is easier to critique the game for its shortfall of content, care, etc...

    Thanks for the responses.
  12. I Need Educating

Can anyone recommend some good filth that a Mac-user should look into? Alas, I'm settled into Fallout at the moment (after many out-of-ignorance restarts; actually, I need to start again, having deleted my save), but hopefully there are some prominent OS X worthy CRPGs that I shouldn't...
  13. Too Human?

I'm afraid I don't remember. However, I can say that GameSpot pushes/probes the hapless gaming community a tad much. Paid registrations? Experience and levelling? I just subscribed in the hope that I can write reviews, but unfortunately that ain't the case. No, apparently I have to become...
