  1. Grim Quest - RPG / Dungeon Crawler in a dark fantasy setting

I'd like to share my first ever game project here, developed in my spare time (usually weekends) over the course of last few months. Any kind of feedback, tips and suggestions are more than welcome, since I'm new to the game design craft. What do you like / don't like about the game? Do you...
  2. The Codex of Roguelikes

Fair points. To be completely honest I'm just a solo developer who's very new to all this, and Grim Quest is a weekend hobby project that got much further than I ever expected - I'm still trying to figure out how to present and market it. The fact that the game is very dark and tries to tell a...
  3. The Codex of Roguelikes

  7. Indie Obscure indies that deserve more attention - Updated Jan. 2020

Yes and no - being a solo developer and no artist myself, I had to settle for what graphics I could find in the public domain. I was lucky to run into this great black & white icon pack which fit perfectly into the general theme and mood I knew I wanted the game to portray - the rest of the...
  8. Indie Obscure indies that deserve more attention - Updated Jan. 2020

Hi everyone, I've been a codex reader for years but never posted before, and I do so now with a plea for help - would any of you be interested in joining the beta test for the game I'm developing? It's an oldschool mobile turn based RPG / Dungeon Crawler / Roguelike set in a dark fantasy world...
