  1. OBJECTION! Let's read Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney(on hold)

here's some cosplay to spice up this stagnant thread
  2. Dragon Age animu

There's an idiom that says: The folks at Bioware also like idioms, so after seeing that their efforts at trolling jrpg devs at westernizing their games have proven fruitless, they have decided to japanize themselves with the aid of FUNimation Entertainment. Source...
  3. Bioware's at it again!!

What I meant is to compare the production values of DA's DLC and NWN's premium stuff. Have they changed? I can't really make a comparison as I haven't played anything DA related. (Of course I could go the doctor way, and talk shit about games I haven't played or lie)
  4. Bioware's at it again!!

No. It's been years since I saw level grinding in a jrpg. You can either learn to play, or stop commenting on a genre you know nothing about. EA invested money in Bio. As an investor they are going to try to force their business strategy on them. Compare for example long term 'DLC' support...
  5. Bioware's at it again!!

The doctors can keep their innovation to themselves. Plus the whole interview is a load of shit. It doesn't say anything specific about what should be changed, and in which direction. Have they even played any of these games since FF7? One can only wonder, why a company lead by brilliant...
  6. :grabspopcorn:

ff12 is one of the best games considering character design, plus the VO's are the best one I've seen to date. As a favourite character however I'd pick Gabranth. He has to be one of the best antagonists aswell. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjQ7pFTwmm4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGxG1e_w...
  7. So I made a graph about Final Fantasy XIII

This thread shall prove that even though codex readers claim to appreciate well writen storylines, they fail to understand a simple graph with two lines of text.
  8. Atlus Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey

SMT games have pretty old schoolish dungeons. The map of this one looks promising too.
  9. Game News BioWare enables true Roleplaying

    Hoarsearmoure Edit> Bah, I'm late :C
  10. Interview Peter Molyneux wants You to see the Dragon

Odds are this guy's next game will be a pile of poo by 'hardcore gamer' standards. Just add up: >One button control. >Non emotional story, cus it makes ol' Petey cry >No UI or visible level up >No branching And there you go, an overpriced movie for 60$, which asks you to press that...
  11. FF13 Midnight Release - How many of you tools...

XII was okay. Gabrant and Balthier were pretty well written, I'll go as far as to label them 'bestest-top20-character-ev4r-list-worthy'. Not by codexian standars of course. By those, the title would go to Vaan.
  12. Yahtzee is a p. original guy

    oh wow a semantic debate
  13. IGN has a go at bashing and dissecting JRPGs

What a load of crap. The guy is probably just butthurt for not being able to beat boss X on his first try in FF13 a'la Dragon Age/Fallout3. Or he's just trolling, as that's what 'game journalism' is about. Professional trolling. Probably both.
  14. Some hypocrite from Bioware is bitching about jrpgs

Even though you missed my point... If a marketing method wants to target older audiences it shouldn't do it with wallpapers, so I doubt such thing exists.
  15. Some hypocrite from Bioware is bitching about jrpgs

@Emotional Vampire I like how you enjoy quoting out of context, but keep the ''-s in mind, and the fact that considering a story 'emo' is a matter or personal taste. But whatever. What games do you like tho? I haven't seen you praise any game here. @Dnny Even though those pics are...
