Hmmmmmm maybe 2004, right around C&C Generals. That sort of late aughts, Golden era, designer driven games right before the big GTA/360 ctash when gaming companies started to heavily market themselves towards casuals and the Ghetto.

    Incline Rain World

Split screen or wireless coop would save it!! I tend to start survivor, feel great getting "the fucking jingling symbols" then I start dying, roam around endlessly for eternity, then give up. :^(

    Best retro coops/multiplayer must plays?

I don't know I feel like Total Warhammer: 3 kind of makes Hero's of Might and Magic 3 obsolete XD (No offense to all the HoMM3 diehards) I remember playing Trine 2 and finding it to be extremely generic and boring, never going to play any of those games ever again sadly. :^( Tyrian 2,000...

Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights come to mind, but I wonder if any oldschoolers here could recommend any hidden gems : D

I would probably say Catherine's one of them. Whenever new blocks or techniques are shown to the player they give you all the chances in the world, on easy, to drill it into your mind in the next stage to hopefully you can beat the game! XD Usually it's also required to beat the stage at some...

Project Haven - dystopian tactical RPG where you lead mercenary company striving for survival

The artstyle isn't really calling out to me that much. Seems abit too "neony-grungy-futurey-post apolacypticy". Gameplay seems to fall into the Jakeo Xcom blend, though my mind might change once I check out the demo.

What RPG to play during a low mood

Is it worth it playing through all of the Ultima games from the beginning up to 7?

What RPG to play during a low mood

Stardew Valley I found to be so boring and time consuming... What is it that hooks you? Always start a new game, plant some stuff, go fishing, visit some random people, then get bored.

    Usually Baldur's Gate 1 or 2.
