From Software The Dark Souls II Megathread™

I'm playing this again, but dealing with awful deadzones is not easy after so many hours of Elden Ring. Since Durazno's fix can get you softbanned (or so I heard), Steam Input comes to the rescue. I found a preset that makes controls as snappy as those in more modern From titles, and it won't...

Unofficial patches for Thief and other PC games

Just a year ago, I used a utility that helps with scaling in older DX7 games like Arcanum, there's a bunch of settings you could tweak like renderer, type of scaling, resolution etc. Now I want to use it for Fallout 1 because my resolution is 1440p and everything looks tiny, but for the life of...

KickStarter King Arthur: Knight's Tale + Legion IX standalone expansion - dark fantasy turn-based tactical RPG from NeocoreGames

I meant that because of the success of BG3, more people would get into turn based games, not that TB was what made BG3 successful. But you'd need marketing for that, which these guys can't or didn't want to do. It is ok, but I'd just play the original if I were you, it's a better experience...

KickStarter King Arthur: Knight's Tale + Legion IX standalone expansion - dark fantasy turn-based tactical RPG from NeocoreGames

Peak player count 654, wtf? Have they done any marketing for this DLC? Considering how popular BG3 was, I expected more people would be interested in turn-based RPGs. It seems a bit like they're shooting themselves in the foot with this DLC.

    Obsidian General Discussion Thread

I have a feeling that even if Obsidian is shut down, Josh and Feargus will survive and move to another MS studio. Those two guys somehow always fail upwards.

Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks shut down by Microsoft

This is the guy who, just a few weeks ago, said that gamers should pay tips to developers on top of paying full price for the games. He's a moron, through and through.

Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks shut down by Microsoft

No, first Avowed will come out, no one will care about it, and THEN they will kill Obsidian.

Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks shut down by Microsoft

Even if it did happen, it would be shit. Mikami left last year and took some of the developers with him. Now he has a new studio, so I guess you should look forward to whatever he's working on. He must've sensed something like this would happen, which is probably why he left.
