    Battle Brothers Pre-Release Thread

I've noticed that the AI mooks can rotate positions with each other on the battlefield. Can I also do that? Tried looking, but couldn't find any button for this.

    AoD dex' reviews

Interesting. Are there any indications in AoD lore to elaborate on that? Because all the clues seem to indicate Carthaginian influence. Not disputing anything, just curious. Vault Dweller?

    AoD dex' reviews

Oops. Well then, shame on me for thinking that the name, elephants on the battlefield, not-Baal worship an a love-hate relationship with the Empire were implying a Carthaginian origin. Where did you discover that they were actually based on Aztecs?

    AoD dex' reviews

Great post :salute:. However, there's one thing I just have to disagree about: on one hand, I'd accept this particular criticism if AoD was an historical RPG. One the other hand, this "mishmashery" of ancient historical references is what makes the lore even more interesting, at least for me...

    Game News ICY Released

The writing is fucking atrocious both stylistically and grammatically. For a narrative-driven game, that's a big no-no. After half-an hour and a particularly cringe-worthy encounter of "black dude vs racists", all I can say is "Thank Gabe for Steam refunds".

Pillars of Eternity Beta Discussion [GAME RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

What if, instead of ditching the whole engagement system, you just make enemies switch targets immediately after being engaged and only provoke a disengagement attack if they attempt to switch back and pursue the ranger? Maybe that would improve matters somewhat?

Game News Project Eternity Kickstarter Update #26: $4 Million Stretch Goal - Chris Avellone Will Play Arcanum

Hence this part: I'm not saying it's impossible for them to make this as large as BG or whatever. I'm just concerned this might end up like KOTOR2. And I hope it doesn't.

Game News Project Eternity Kickstarter Update #26: $4 Million Stretch Goal - Chris Avellone Will Play Arcanum

Don't forget inflation. Adjusted for inflation, Fallout and BG would cost roughly 4.3 mil in nu dollah to make: PE got $4,163,208 including PayPal, which in 1997 would translate into $2,887,530.99. And that's including pledge rewards, KS and Amazon cuts, and failed transactions...

Obsidian's Pillars of Eternity [BETA RELEASED, GO TO THE NEW THREAD]

Phew, just got my shiny new credit card from the bank with 10 hours to go. Wasn't sure I'd make it in time. Well then, time to pledge, motherfuckers!
