So you guys are okay with it when Kickstarter campaign creators don't deliver as promised?
  2. KickStarter Blackthorne health fundraiser

If you are healthy enough to post here, then you are healthy enough to make the few clicks to send people their money back for items you never sent.
  3. KickStarter Blackthorne health fundraiser

Intent isn't relevant. Either send people what they fucking paid for or send people their money back.

I am really curious about that "One Limited Edition Keepsake Box constructed from Oak - a wooden box that features The Order of the Thorne Logo imprinted on it". How is that one guy who paid $1,000 enjoying it? He's had it for eight years now, right?
  5. KickStarter Blackthorne health fundraiser

How is the Order of the Thorne/Roehm To Ruin Kickstarter rewards fulfillment going?
  6. Game News Hibernaculum gets Steam page, coming Q4 2025

I didn't know Primordia had only one creator.
  7. The Random Adventure Game News Thread

Wasn't Theropods supposed to be released in June of 2021? Another Kickscammer project gone south.
  8. KickStarter Backbone — pixel art detective adventure inspired by noir

I agree that it should remain visible forever, but I guess Kickstarter is nicknamed Kickscammer for a reason.
  9. KickStarter Backbone — pixel art detective adventure inspired by noir

Why isn't the Kickstarter page visible? I'm seeing just this: "Backbone — pixel art detective adventure inspired by noir has been hidden for privacy. This project has been removed from visibility at the request of the creator. It will remain permanently out of view."
  10. Game News Hibernaculum is a sci-fi horror dungeon crawler set aboard a massive colony ship, now on Kickstarter

I don't understand how the $47,379 goal is going to work for a development time of about 2.5 years. That meager sum of money isn't even enough to pay a single developer, much less pay for the design, production, and distribution of the physical products.
  11. Game News Hibernaculum is a sci-fi horror dungeon crawler set aboard a massive colony ship, now on Kickstarter

Who will be producing the "Expertly crafted Limited Edition Hard Copy of Hibernaculum" and the other physical items like the poster and enamel pin and hoodie?
  12. Colossal Cave Adventure remake from Ken & Roberta Williams

The VR version of this game is...inexcusable. At the very least, these three things need to be fixed: bugs, locomotion, interface. The game is worth $0 in its current buggy and clumsy state, so the $39.99 asking price is insulting. Seems like the developers are oblivious to how well-liked...
  13. Colossal Cave Adventure remake from Ken & Roberta Williams

I played Colossal Cave for about 90 minutes on the Quest 2. The game seems like it could be pretty cool, but the bugs and clunkiness hampered the experience. On two occasions, using a ladder kicked me outside the map. One save was un-loadable becasue the game somehow loaded me oustide the map...
  14. Return To Monkey Island - MI2 sequel from Ron Gilbert

Any game that's not fucking crowdfunded is a winner.
