  1. Disco Elysium Pre-Release Thread [GO TO NEW THREAD]

I won't be able to relate to my character then. Role playing limitations confirmed :argh:
  2. Death Stranding Director's Cut - Kojima's post-apocalyptic deliveryman simulator

I have a feeling this whole thing is in many ways similar to these legendary failed projects that are called "the greatest X never made." Something like Jodorowsky's Dune. Have you seen the documentary about it? It was supposed to be the ultimate film. Born from the wild ambition of a...
  3. Rebel Galaxy Outlaw - hard rock spacing sequel

The first game was an acceptable novelty. This is pure trash. Narrow, shallow and repetitive with terrible controls and flight model. Just as I was afraid, it's designed around the dumb autopilot gimmick. While autoaiming is not enforced there's no point in using free flight. With autoaim fights...
  4. Cyberpunk 2077 Pre-Release Thread [GAME RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

I keep seeing people quoting this but I don't get how a comparison to TV static can be interpreted as meaning nice weather. Sounds more like a nasty, dirty overcast. I imagine either grey static or a PAL test pattern but if you see that thing up in the sky, it's not the sky. It's the shrooms.
  5. Cyberpunk 2077 Pre-Release Thread [GAME RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

I demand an approach to romance that panders to me! It's 2019, every weirdo got a piece of this pie already so I'd say it's about time I got something I could finally relate to. That is: no romance at all, no dialogues, no nothing. It could all be replaced with a randomly occurring 2 second...
  6. Rebel Galaxy Outlaw - hard rock spacing sequel

    "Early 2019" :rpgcodex:
  7. KickStarter Studio FOW's Subverse - Explore a wacky galaxy full of hot alien babes! - now on Early Access

Why? Why in tarnation would I want to slog through some tacked on shovelware gameplay just to get to the porn? And StudioFOW makes absolute bottom tier animations. Western attempts at H are pig disgusting in general, this thing is a WHY vortex.
  8. Yet another Piracy: Good or Bad? discussion

Even if perfect DRM killed piracy once and for all they still wouldn't get any money out of me. If I can't steal it or get it for free I'm not interested in it. I never was a potential sale. I don't know how many immoral pirates like me are out there but at some point the anti-piracy schemes...
  9. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

When you still have no game but choose to work on inane "features" that have fuck all to do with gameplay, that's time well spent. This is why "when it's done" is bullshit. Beware of those who utter these cursed words, for they are hacks. Especially in cases like TaleWorlds, also known as the...
  10. Starsector - RT 2D indie space goodness

7 years in he's redoing the entire trade and economy system literally for the fifth time. Following development of games like these makes me want to claw out my eyes.
  11. Cheating is endemic in rpgs. Being forced not to reload puts you on disadvantage

Is the outcome of a lukaszek thread random or deterministic?
  12. Shutting This Forum Down

Fucking LOL. I guess every caveman melts down eventually. R.I.P. in pieces Encino Man.
