  1. The Mass Effect 3/BioWare Thread

 More like... an overarching saga of humanity's struggle to substantiate itself alongside other alien species, the conflicts therein, the organic/synthetic dichotomy and the approach of this great unfathomable threat to the existence of all advanced life in the galaxy coming in from the...
  2. The Mass Effect 3/BioWare Thread

I respect your stance on ME2 although I disagree vehemently. The second game had an utterly silly (if not retarded) premise from the start, and the supposed "integration" with choices from the first game was verged either on the absurd, the non-existent or the superficial. In fact the whole...

  4. Why is Captain Shrek dumbfucked?

    It's OK. I like feeling special/speshul. :P
  5. Why is Captain Shrek dumbfucked?

It's actually "she", and I merely pointed out inconsistencies within the official narrative based on the information available at the time and refuted a number of your claims which raised your megalomaniacal ire. :yeah:
  6. Why is Captain Shrek dumbfucked?

I wear mine proudly, as a badge of honor bequeathed unto me by DU's butthurt ego. I would never want to have it taken away - tis a rare achievment. Plus, it's virtual bling accessorizes nicely my username. :) Thanks DarkUnderlord! xoxo
  7. The Mass Effect 3/BioWare Thread

Which is why the Ultimate Sacrifice ending in DA:O is possibly the best ending Bioware have ever done, especially if achieved (without metagaming) as being an inherent motivational outcome of your character's narrative arc. My Warden in DAO died, but I didn't feel cheated by the story because...
  8. Should I play The Witcher 2?

Compared to it's predecessor TW2 offers a relatively more dumbed down streamlined experience. From a narrative standpoint both are rather different. The first is an exploration of the White Wolf and what it means to slay monsters, Assassins of Kings is a desperate pursuit through a world on the...

  10. Why can't i brofist?

I personally find the term rather abhorrent. I think the word "bro"-fist is terribly sexist, potentially racist, homophobic, ableist and chauvinistic.
  11. Why can't i brofist?

MLP? What's that? I actually found your comment really adorable...
  12. Why can't i brofist?

    Awwww.... that's sooooooo cuuute!
  13. The Mass Effect 3/BioWare Thread

Gee -- I guess ME1's light/medium armor was just a figment of my imagination then. It's amazing the lengths Bioware have gone to stylistically retcon/butcher the aesthetics of Mass Effect's original (and much superior) art direction and world design.
  14. The Mass Effect 3/BioWare Thread

ME1 was the only truly decent game in the series. The other two successors seem so disconnected and discordadant narratively and visually that I like to pretend they took place in some sort of bizarre alternate reality.
  15. You guys are like a bad MMO developer

I use IE and I have never seen that ad -- actually, the ads are so unobstrusive on this site that I hardly ever notice them.
