  1. FABEL III IS OUTT!!1!

On the plus side, my character hasn't turned into some sort of hideous mutant creature over the course of the game as happened when I played through Fable 2. On the down side, absolutely everything else in the game is worse. My pre-order feels so justified.
  2. Alpha Protocol sucks massive Multi-Headed Dick

I've got most of the listed problems here as well and I'm pretty sure that Steam doesn't ship some shitty cracked version.
  3. What version of X-COM: UD/UE is best to choose?

Stick with the DOS version in DOSBox. Less hassle all round than farting around with the ported versions and emulators (please don't tell me you were actually considering playing UFO on an ECS specced Amiga? That's only for people who enjoy pain).
  4. The most elegant proof that FO3 is a better RPG than FO1

First person perspective in a computer game is not a valid restriction on what the character can see. The field of view is always much more restricted than what a human could actually see and there's not a lot to be done about it unless you're going to play the game across multiple monitors...
  5. Company News Bioware is fucked

I don't think EA have started throwing people who won't buy their games into the gulags just yet.
  6. Rape. (new image at official FO3 site)

There wouldn't be much of a game to play if the entire fucking world had starved because you couldn't grow anything.
  7. Fully full review of neverwinter nights 2

I know exactly what you mean about the fucking mode buttons. They're supposed to be like check boxes, I'm sure, but having them constantly, and as far as I can tell randomly, switch back off is a true pain in the arse. It's not so bad for some classes, I suppose, but playing as a monk? When...
  8. My first impressions of NWN2

Did Canada detach itself from North American when I wasn't looking or something, you ignorant motherfucker? Do you think the natives back then lived according to modern distinctions between the USA and Canada? And, yes, it's Native Americans, because when you're talking about British crimes...
  9. My first impressions of NWN2

What a crock of shit. You want to blame someone for what happened to the Indians - I assume you mean the Native Americans - and the rest of what happened on the Americas then look at the Americans. They're the descendants of the colonists. The British here are the descendants of the people...
  10. My first impressions of NWN2

Not if you have the British version. You might have got a proper manual but over here we got a shitty little pamphlet that covered the basics and then left us to it.
  11. So is NWN2 at least worth $24.99?

The UK manual isn't much better if that's any consolation. 34 pages and if you subtract the credits pages and other junk it's maybe 25 pages of actual instructional content.
  12. 10 reasons why NWN2 owns NWN1

Dirty lies. Try seeing what those flame effects look like in a top-down camera view. It's quite possibly the worst billboard implementation I've ever seen in a commercially released game; even Daggerfall at least remembered that for billboards to work they had to always face the camera.
  13. Sports RPG?

TV Sports Boxing is the game you're thinking of most likely. Good game, but you'd be better off with playing an emulated version on something like WinUAE these days.
  14. UFO: Extraterrestrials TB game

Don't know about the others but X-COM bloody well does have fog of war.
