KickStarter Terra Invicta - sci-fi grand strategy from Long War mod creators - now available on Early Access

Trash is a little harsh. The tutorial explains the buttons and the mechanics, but it's like there are two tutorials playing at the same time. I think the problem with the game is that it seems to be a very long time of build-up before you will be able to do anything interesting. (E.g. go to space.)

Grand Strategy Stellar Monarch 2: Feudal space empire builder - v1.00!

A noticeable graphics upgrade in the portraits. Glad to see that the magnificent hats are in this game as well.

    field of glory EMPIRES

No, the built-in battle system is just a graphical auto-resolve with no player input. Check the video above at 37 minutes.

Recommend me a grog-light hex war game

Hex Commander Shogun has turn-based tactical battles and a pretty light strategy layer above that. And it has morale; samurai are unbreakable but ashigaru units will break and run if they take too many losses (and they break earlier if the general has been lost). And the battle AI is aggressive...

How does combat work? How is the AI?

TBS Any mutliplayer wargame you can recommend?

It's not fantasy, but I have gotten a lot of play out of Memoir '44 Online. Apart from multiplayer it also has a surprisingly strong AI, which is well worth playing against.

    Imperial Domination II - beta

In the tutorial, around screen 30, I am asked to "import horses to continue". But the tutorial doesn't say how to, and clicking on the buttons, the numbers, the provinces, or moving the slider thingy was apparently not how. How do I import horses? I like that there is tactical combat, and...

Development Info Drox Operative: The Crew

What is a Drog Operative? Google is unhelpful.

    Pride of Nations Released

That sounds interesting. How is the AI? Clever? Surprising? Good because it's better at micromanaging all the countless details? Knows how to actually play the game? (I'm looking at you , Total War.)

Age of Fear - New Fantasy TBS

And now I've tried the demo. It's pretty basic, click-to-move-fight/spell/ability until all on the other side are dead. No simulation of command and control, no morale and no formations. And some bad English. ("A striked B.") Not a bad effort for an indie, but I see nothing special here and...
