Not a zoomer, I'm just not a gamedev nerd and I wasn't even into RPGs back then. Being unnecessarily aggressive doesn't make you more knowledged, don't act dumb.

Why did they pick a pain in the ass engine that they're not experienced with? The result is better than the pic you posted but I can't but wonder.

Lack of crafting, alchemy is a big problem and result of rushed design imo. Just buying consumables doesnt cut it. Also the game is very linear aside from the endgame, all these are big stepback from AoD. It is a good game, but AoD sets the bar too high. The linear design make it more similar...

    It's a Mount & Blade: Warband Thread!

I still have pics from 2011 where I screenshotted my not so impressive scores in multiplayer and my character got bloodstained for killing too much :) I had so many memories with this game and with Fire&Sword game. The multiplayer was a total blast.

I wouldn't call it shit but underwhelming and it's because AoG set the bar too high. The game writing feels rushed to the end.

A 10 INT 4 CHA character should have be able to take control of life support and kill everyone while announcing his school shooting manifesto across the ship. That would be a truly unique ending.

    Grand Strategy Crusader Kings III

Paradox fanbase deserve this game and so anyone expecting this game to be about strategy while the devs made it clear they don't give a fuck.

Trigger the codex with a statement.

Open world is overrated, CYOA CRPGs like The Age of Decadence and The Colony Ship RPG are the future. Open world just leads to shittier combat due to open world somehow always find a way to ruin combat balance and buildfag experience as a result.

I didn't know about the first part, good to know. But what about when alert score hits %100 but I still have my cloak on? Is it reduced by some degree or it's just null at that point?

I know, but don't how much. Let's say the enemy has 50 thermal vision. Does that mean hit chance is lowered by %50 amount?

I'm still unsure how cloaking field works in combat. Like how hard to get hit compared to distortion field, what's the hit chance when the enemy's alert thing at %50 or %100 etc.

Relationships with party members feel mechanically underutilized

This x1000, don't make it another hassle to get a minor buff for minmaxxers. Make it meaningful, not maxxing all party member relations would be good and provide a decent 'choices matter' aspect to the game. M&B Warband had crude version of this, some companions were just incompabile. The game...

KickStarter Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy - BG1-inspired low fantasy RPG From the ATOM TEAM - Kickstarter Live

Will it have good combat unlike ATOM? Will it be a buildfag game?

    Incline Colony Ship RELEASE THREAD

I know what you're saying, I'm still disagreeing. ATOM has zero combat challenge, I don't think the game claims to have tactical depth at all. Colony Ship despite it's flaws is challenging (not as much as AoD) and tactical, unless one plays it in baby mode.
