I just got my new PCG in the mail (it was a xmas present, okay?) and it has some big 4 page (YES THAT'S RIGHT FOUR WHOLE PAGES!) thingy on Medieval 2: Total War, the new "streamlined" RTS/TBS game from once-cool developers Creative Assembly.

The author of this article, who is a total shithead, doesn't really explore on any of the new stuff beyond mentioning OMG U CAN ELECT A NEW POPE! and instead keeps insisting on how accessible it'll be and how awesome it is that the game will now be approachable to a wider audience. Really, it reads like one big advertisment.

Funny how every single article about Medieval 2 till now, doesn't discuss the sea battles. If there's one thing that has been left out of so many strategy games so often, then it is naval combat. I guess they won't make it in this game either I am afraid.
