Owlboy's out. It's an indie darling with many years of development, and really good pixel art.

I kind of want to buy it now, but I don't have a PC to play it on.

I get an immense Bitmap Brothers-vibe when I see the graphics. Being able to copy that style of pixel graphics is a feat in and of itself.

So during the sale I stumbled upon XCOM (2012) which was NOT on sale.
I read about the Long War mod, so, on a whim, I bought the entire package (with expansions) for 30€.
Ouch.

Then installed Long War, and manually applied the optional (training) file for easier difficulty settings.
Started at the easiest, to learn, as the mod appears quite complicated and difficult by default.

I'm having a BLAST, the likes of which I hadn't experienced probably in years, or more.
Seriously, it's amazing.

You could have bought the complete edition less then the half the price on another store and even less on a key seller site.

Still I don't regret my purchase, I rarely buy impulsively and I've learned to cherish the act when I momentarily let go :D
