I'm still stuck on MK II and refuse to move to the next one until I beat it. It's been 4 years since I installed it. The game is just too fucking hard. Normal difficulty? HA! More like fucking impossible. AI reads your keystrokes and blocks/counters all your moves perfectly but I haven't given up yet, gotta git gud.

Which port of MK2?

Did you reach Kintaro? I don't even ask about beating Jade.

Easiest way to beat non-boss enemy in MK2 is to lure him into Baraka's Blade Shredder.

BTW: DOS port was best in the 90's but now just play arcade original with Challenger Hack.

I'm using Liu Kang now and I have to beat the game on normal difficulty with every single character. First few stages are easy, flawless victory then it gets tough when they start blocking everything.
