Hey all,

I'm in need of some help. I'm trying to play Ultima vi via Nuvie with the speech files from the FM-town version.
I tried using the read me from Nuvies webpage but after installing and finally when in game, Lord british doesn't speak after the first combat. When I try to leave the castle Nuvie crashes.

So If done something wrong. I'm using the GOG version of Ultima 6 and am running win 7 (64)
Also Im unsure which files are needed from the FM-towns CDs.

Some help would be greatly appreciated!

You need these files in the directory that the townsdir cfg option points to.
CONVERSE.A
CONVERSE.B
CONVERSE.C
CONVERSE.D
SOUNDS1.DAT
SOUNDS2.DAT
SPEECH (directory with all files inside it)

The sfx cfg option in the ultima6 section can be set to towns so you can use the FM-Towns sfx.
Code:
<ultima6>
 <townsdir>./fmtownsU6</townsdir>
 <sfx>towns</sfx>
</ultima6>
