Naoie Ukita's unique tactic is a terrifying offensive power, capable of debuffing EVERYTHING (ATK,RANGED,DEF, and MOV). But it has a long cooldown and somewhat mediocre duration. But it is an AREA debuff, so the effectiveness still stands.

Castle's secured with minimum casualties.

Excellent.

I still fail how this is a successful offensive. How are we going to defend against THAT?

The Yamana Clan no longer has any obligation to keep. Sensing an opportunity to seize an easy gain, an army of 10,000 converge upon the crumbling Himeji Castle as the Mori Army marched onward to Gochaku Castle.

Everyone! Back to the vessels. We sail back to Shikoku!

Lord Komodo! Allied vessels approaching. They wish to rescue Himeji Castle!

Those fools! They don't understand my ploy!

A force of 146, seeking to rescue a Castle besieged by 10,000 Elite Monks of Honganji? Does he have a death wish?

We've sent word to other lords to reinforce, but it seems that will take time.

It would be a mistake to advance towards Mori's land before securing Shikoku. Why not destroy their vassal clan first?

A letter from Asakura Castle! It is under attack from the Kono Clan!

Tell Sosan Doi not to panic. Simply divide his men into two and send one to the shore and another northwards. When the attackers lay siege to the empty castle, regroup and them from two sides. Reinforcements will come and do the rest.

38 - Valor

Good. With this bountiful harvest, we can march for a year!

As Lord Komodo commanded, we will split our force into two and conduct a pincer attack on the the besieging enemy!

The first besiegers numbered 2,100 were caught in the trap and was quickly annihilated. A second force is about to suffer the same but with added pain on its backside by a 3,500 strong Chosokabe army from the neighboring Kubokawa Castle.

Good. Sosan Doi is acting according to plan. Ukita, we march westward!

Right away!

Enemies ahead! Ready the guns!

The enemies were routed both in the north and the south.
However, Chosokabe's borders in the east would be threatened once again. This time by Honganji's steadfast ally: The Suzuki Clan.

Nothing can be done for them now. Focus on our current mission.
