GOTY you haters.
Looks too arty-farty, probably not even bundle fodder™.

Friday August 28th through Monday the 31st, Harebrained Schemes is proud to present an all new NECROPOLIS demo at booth 7410 on the 6th floor of PAX Prime. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s to come in our new trailer.

NECROPOLIS is a third-person action roguelike, set in a living dungeon that changes every time you play, filled with monsters, myth and magic, and lorded over by the mad mystical intellect known only as the Brazen Head.

Three demo stations are prepared to consume as many adventurers as they can, in a bid to power the pyramid with their souls. Last time, less than 20 completed the demo. This time, we believe the number will be FAR lower.

Care to try your luck?

There, in the depths of a huge complex constructed by magic, lies the greatest collection of magical items and treasure that the world has ever known. After all his conquests and victories, Abraxis retreated to his Necropolis to work his magic, in darkness far removed from the rest of civilization.

Sounds like the first act of Hordes of the Underdark (The mad wizard Halaster and his shifting Undermountain dungeons).

I would have expected something more... ominous/Dark Souls-ish?

Shadorwun: Hong Kong
Looks alright, but the gameplay looks unrefined. The animations look lackluster, the main character doesn't seem to react when getting hit, and the hit-detection looks off.

Indie Souls would be a more apt description. I hope this is just an alpha build.

I would assume so since they haven't even put it on Early Access yet.

Not sure if this is snark but Harebrained Schemes have said they don't like doing Early Access. None of the Shadowrun games even offered a beta to Kickstarter backers.

Meh.

Side me with the bunch that's not impressed with the art style.
