What a shame.

His name is If-Him-On-Terra-Had-Not-Fought-For-Thee-Thou-Hadst-Been-Damned Koehler

So the commissar is an Omnian?
Alternatively a journeyman from Myth :(

Anyway, I say we go with 4, Kirchoff sounds like a total BRO to have around. I bet he talks in all-caps :bro:

Alas the black hold won :/ but again a nice choice, wanted to go with Groshaw but 4 seems like it could settle our doubts a bit and bring a nice companion on board.

Really guys, number 4 is the heavy flamer specialist on top of being ecclesiarch and a drunk to boot (at least fond of amasec)! What's not to like? :smug:

You're goddamn right. It's not like we have to worry about collateral damage (much) or anything. Bonus points if he consigns us to flame. Plus, it makes up for picking the "safe and boring" option last time.

Better to have an Ecclesiarch in the Black Hold than a Commissar. A Commissar will execute men whose faith wavers, the Ecclesiarch should maintain their faith, and if they waver he won't just execute them, he'll light them up like Christmas trees as an example.

Holt is caressing OUR baneblade as we speak. Now we gotta survive the black hold to save our precious from the unwanted attentions of the commissar.

He should be able to give us some helpful information about the hold itself, and praying to the machine-god together with an adept of the priesthood might enhance our fighting capabilities with our new arm. Maybe he can upgrade it a little. Please let him do it. Pwetty pwease? :)

Btw, does Schäfer get some information about the success of the other companies? And what the fuck is the deathwatch doing here, when the IG is sent to deal with both the boltershells and the enemy at the refinery? Do I want to know?

The Deathwatch are the chamber militant of the Inquisition's Ordo Xenos. So, while they hate Chaos as much or more than your average space marine,* their focus is the alien and ooze threat.

*Aside from the force commander on the Thronum, who is a pariah and thus doesn't really hate.

Yeah, that's what I figured. What I wanted to know though is what exactly it is they're investigating, and whether Schäfer knows about it.

Did you miss the strange mutagenic black ooze infesting the hive and the xenomorphs that have been killing guardsmen left and right? :M

He's not going to give it back, he's a commissar! plus, the legality of us owning it already sketchy due to bureaucratic shenanigans.

Ezekiel Hex was a protégé of Silas Marr IIRC, and Nils Aggern most likely has connections to him as well. Add in our protagonists connections with the Calixis Sector (and the Tyrant Star, Marr's latest obsession) and maybe we can look forward to an appearance of that pleasant Inquisitor in this LP as well. :M
