we'll likely not get to the terror site in tow or gt forced to fight it at night.

nigga plz l2p

Xenonauts has the same exploit as UFO, namely that a crash/terror site can't disappear from the map if there is a dropship heading for it. If you abuse that properly, you will never be 'forced' to fight at night.

Fight at night!

Aliens tend to charge you on terror missions anyway, so its not as big of a problem as it usually is.

I agree with Jaedar, do it at night.

Totally not trying to get the veterans killed to bring new people in :troll:

If you charge terror site right now you arive there at night. Choppa is much slower then fighters.

Officers have helmets with gas masks. You need EMP 'nades, shock sticks or massive amounts of flashbangs to down them. The gas rokkits was to take out grunts so I could move in with the cattle prod.

Sunday I'm procastrinating
Monday I'm @ PFD at DTU

Soon™ :troll:

On a lighter note, I tried cloning the ironnyan save to sate my curiosity and find out of swapping soldiers is an option.
The good news are that they changed stuffies since the last LP. You can actually launch aircraft at less than 100% fuel now. So the Shoutbox can launch immediately after landing with a full crew and updated loadout.
Even better news, going back, then immediately flying to the terror site would coincide with us arriving in daylight.

Buuuuut.... The terror site times out with a huge negative reputation hit ~10m before the transport arrives in Sydney.

So we have no scatter laser. Because the CE still hasn't gotten around to letting you swap loadouts around while the transport is in the air. And we have 2 shieldmaidens who are effectively useless in a terror site. I'm planning to land there, bunker down immediately around the transport until we spot an alien. If it's sebilians, we'll just go back into the transport and dust off. We don't have the firepower to deal with them now that Roxor is down. If it's androns... enh. I'm tempted to dust off as well. Roxor was kind of our back-up ammobin. Without him along, we'll run out of bullits before we run out of enemies. Especially seeing as our rocket guy has 50% stun gas missiles.

If it's Caesans, we can give the terror site a proper try. Seriously, if the site had been anywhere but mootherfucking Sydney we'd have been able to rearm and do it proper. Bloody RNG.

Terror site disappeared while my dropship was heading for it. Where is your god now?
