This is a game I am looking forward to more than any I have for such a long time. When KF2 was announced I went back and played Killing Floor 1, and I kept playing it. It's a good game.
I've been playing indie shit that has nice music and art for a long time because yeah it's nice. But there hasn't been a game that I actually want to play for gameplay in a long time. I think Killing Floor is number 4 on my steam list of playtime, and I think it's the one I liked the best. I checked, 172 hours, yeah I enjoy Killing Floor. I want KF2. It suits what I want for a game to play after coming home from work, because right now I don't have a game like that. I have stupid shit like Pillars of Eternity which is designed for teenagers who have endless free time.
I have this huge list of games on Steam with "6 hours played" because I buy them and play them for one day. KF2 is the sort of game that I can finally get behind.

I'm pretty meh on KF 1. I've played it and it can be fun, but it's far too repetitive and you can't fight other players, only pc controlled zombies.

And Killing Floor 2 doesn't work on Windows 10 atm.
Why did you get a key and I didn't.

I never said I got a key. I also said I have played Killing Floor 1 (KF 1)

However, the beta version of KF2 is sailing the high seas if you want a preview of how it plays and stuffies. (you will need the legit version if you want to play on Steam/uncracked servers tho)

Have you checked out Hatred? It's the type of game you might enjoy. There is a mega thread here about it.

Man, I was so pumped for the EA. Then I remembered a crucial thing. Germany.
With all the Steam changes lately I doubt "we" will be able to play it uncut, even when getting it gifted.

Makes me sad.

With the current state of our military we would not survive the Polish retaliation.

Really? They completely locked down Russia but I hadn't heard anything about Germany. I know a German buddy of mine occasionally would buy censored games through me so he'd get the uncut version and that worked peachy, but that was a while back.

Bullets in KF2 move rediculously slowly, like at 100 kmph. it feels like you're slinging death at zeds instead of just shooting them. Because bullets move so damn slowly, you need to lead your shots now at faraway enemies, especially in zed time. It's unrealistic, but extremely fun and makes the game feel a lot less like head pixel clicker. burst mode is actually useful since it turns your assault rifle into a highly accurate mini shotgun.

I hope they actually add arrow physics to the crossbow when it's out. Then sharpshooter would be a class that actually takes skill to play.

The changes to berserker nerfed it a bit from kf1 but buffed it's single target capability. There's a hidden stamina bar that depleted when you swing too many times in a row, so it's a lot harder to crowd control from a static position like a doorway now. You can only chain three katana swings at a time before having to reset the animation. On the other hand, parrying makes you mostly invincible to everything short of a fp assuming there's notbing around you. I think the zerkers role has changed from a class that mops up shit and tanks dmg to a class thats designed to never stop moving, dodging, parrying and killing off the big guys first.

Well when a resident CDS Russian use to help us get 4 packs what he use do was put a card on the market at the amount a person was pitching in for.
Steam however takes a sizable chunk out of the card transaction.

Russians are not allowed to trade with the rest of the world anymore. Beware.

Just rented a six slot server for a month. When the game is out, I'll post the password here if anyone here doesn't want to play with shitters.

I might be in for £20. The only thing that kind of puts me off right now is the possibility of upcoming stat wipes during EA. But on the plus side the game play doesn't appear to be heavily perk focused in all the YouTube footage I have seen.

I'm not really into Early Access but this looks really cool and I'm strongly considering buying it. Anyone got anything to say either way?

The original game has been bundled 4 times and had a price point of $2.47 during numerous sales. This game will tank in value in record time just like everything else that is Tripwire.
