This is important, now there is a precedent, it means that now all undelivered Kickstarters are liable to repay their backers, however, as was expected filing for bankruptcy will keep the creators of said projects out of jail and won't really pay back.
Let's not forget that this was for a physical product tho, for videogames as long as they release something they should be off the hook.

Serpent in the Staglands Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Shadorwun: Hong Kong
Interestingly it has fewer backers than PoE or TToN.

If I did my math right, it's averaging $85 per backer :O

Maybe that's because backer-exclusive content is only available for $60+ backers.

As I said in the other thread, it's because console nostalgia is still largely an untapped market on Kickstarter...and as Damned Registrations has argued elsewhere, console nostalgia IS stronger than old PC game nostalgia, as much as some of us master racers may not like that.

Right, console were always bigger markets, I would expect more backers. That kind of insane double money per backer is unexpected.

Then again, I suppose they're used to paying more money too.

From the Codex inbox:

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/fantasy-dimension

Fantasy Dimension is:

* Dark Fantasy Theme - no disneyland, no japan.

* Turn Based Tactical Combat - fight groups of enemies, plan every move, choose from variety skills and spells.

* Party Based - specialize up to 6 characters.

* Freedom Character Creation - no classes, create own by mixing any skills and spells.

* 100% Line Art - two color illustration graphics like in old books.

* Imagination - no computer effects, played like a paper game.

* 5 Difficulty Modes - changeable during play.

* Multiplatform - browser based, Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, iOS.

* FREE - ads based.

Uh okay

Remember when I wrote about a new era of console Kickstarters?

Multiply that by 10 now.
