Looks like Awesome Button: The Game.

Also are those fucking nanomachines at the end or what? This shit is going to have tech more advanced than the original DX because fuck that game only nerds played that and 99% of our audience doesn't even know it exists.

One of the few mainstream games I am looking forward to. Human Revolution didn't deviate too drastically from the formula established in the first game, and hopefully they don't fuck up in the name of "evolution" on this one, as their idea of evolution often falls on its face massively (ie Thief 2014).

It's kinda hilarious how you guys seriously discuss what the upcoming game would be like based on a trailer that shows about as much actual gameplay as this:

Also, Verdana >>> Comic Sans.

They’re too arrogant to effectively band together for a common goal.
Someone doesn't understand the idea of the Illuminati, it's either me or the devs. I thought the whole point of the Illuminati is to work together to further a common agenda, if they aren't doing that then they're just a bunch of powerful people who occasionally interact.

The goal of the Illuminati is advancement, albeit under their careful watch.
Augs were seen as a postive thing however they had the capacity to undermine the Illuminati in that they could empower individuals and undermine existing order.
Augments were kept dependent on chems but the work at Sarif could of changed this but they were dealt with swiftly.

It was the actions of Anti-Aug activists aware of the Illuminati's control of augs that made the current shitstorm in the sequel.
Their attempts, though well meaning, to curtail Illuminati inffluence resulted in a disaster that's being blamed on Augments by the non-augmented majority?
And the Illuminati is just riding the waves of discontent trying to restore order?

The goal of the Illuminati is not advancement, it's absolute control via indirect means.
Technological advancement is a corollary effect due to both the fact that better technologies allow for better control, and because of one of the Illuminati's core beliefs that knowledge is power.
The rest is correct - the rapid advancement of aug tech was threatening to the Illuminati because it both empowered individuals and organisations that were not under their control, hence the whole plot to make augs seem dangerous in the public eye to curb their spread and bring it under Illuminati control.
In DX1, that plot was successful - the few mechs we see are/were either directly employed by the Illuminati proxies, or are outlaws.

T. Reich I think I was going on about advancement after I remembered Everett's ending in DX 1.
Memory is a bit hazy with regards to both of them, particularly HR.
The zombified people though, I could of sworn it was because of the cane guy, not the Illuminati.
I'm now remembering then Biochips too, the glitches surely wouldnt have damaged the image of Augs to the extent of a zombie aug terror massacre.

I don't remember there being any concrete proof toward whether this version is true, but I consider this as the chief reason for zombie aug terror massacre: the chips had been developed only to make augs controllable by the Illuminati, but Hugh Darrow in his envy decided to go rogue and made all the augs go mad with rage, instead of allowing the Illuminati to subtly control the individuals whenever they wanted to.

Codex Year of the Donut Serpent in the Staglands Dead State Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Kingmaker Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
Invisible War-style "all the endings happened."

Hmm, sounds to me more like they're inventing an entirely new ending. DX:HR's ending was just "select a message to broadcast to the world". So saying "all the endings happened" doesn't really make sense. What, Jensen blamed the zombie aug epidemic on the Illuminati (Darrow ending), on the anti-aug groups (Sarif ending) AND on an accident (Illuminati ending)?
