So I've become quite addicted to Flash games lately and found them surprisingly good timewasters (that can quickly turn into hours). We all like the epic sized games but sometimes you just want to jump and have fun under 60 seconds, and plus their huge websites make you feel like a kid in a candy store. Some Flash games even offer surprising amount of depth. Oh, and did I mention innovation? Here's 4 excellent ones to get the list going:

    Rebuild 2 http://www.kongregate.com/games/sarahnorthway/rebuild-2
A very challenging strategy game where the goal is to conquer a whole town overrun by zombies. Many RPG elements for your unique party members, many ways to win and overall strategic options.

    Ghost Hacker http://www.kongregate.com/games/CoreSector/ghost-hacker
Probably my favourite Tower Defense, because it requires quite a bit of thinking.

    The Enchanted Cave http://www.kongregate.com/games/DustinA ... anted-cave
    A pretty good rogue-like.

...and for those looking for a finer, social experience
    Transformice http://www.kongregate.com/games/Tigroun ... ansformice
A game where the goal is to get the cheese and come back, with the help of a shaman, and frequently at the expense of your fellow mice.

Transformice is full of laughs and epic moments - definitely try it out. So good when you get a shaman with imagination.

The World's Hardest Game is pretty fun, albeit not that long and not that hard.

I was playing a flash risk-like a couple of months ago but can't seem to find it on armor games. I suspect it might be thisgame but the UI looks a bit different, so perhaps a new version. Quite fun and pretty damn hard though.

There's also online settlers of Catan, although that's a java game.

I'll second Kingdom Rush (well done tower defense) and add Pandemic (wipe out all of mankind).

Been playing GunBlood, got killed in last encounter. We should have a codex high score group.

    Mytheria
A sci-fi trading card game, nice atmosphere (sort of reminds me of the Dune Universe).

Solidly done, was even mentioned on the Codex's "Casual Strategy Sunday" a while back...

    Subterfuge
    By the same people.
A turn-based strategy game, based in a Cyber/Bio Punk Universe.
Game play is a bit of reminiscent of Stratego.

Pretty much everything from Nitrome is good. The quality of their games ranges from decent/okay over good to awesome. Also consistently good artstyle and music.

Best flash game site on the web.

Here's a game that hits a little closer to home with the Codex:

    Clarence's Big Chance
a really nice platformer, several endings depending on your % completion.
    http://www.kongregate.com/games/Pseudol ... big-chance

All the other games of its creator, pseudowolf, are just as good. He has a 30+ hour jRPG called Mardek 3 that actually has a lot of things going for it, including character customization and humor, and Raider: Episode 1 & 2, a brand of tough platformers.

...and for those itching for more Fallout 3 action, here's its shitter, 2D version!
    The Last Stand: Union City
(actually a sequel to the great Last Stand games)
