Remember that Command and Conquer free-to-play game being developed by Victory Games (AKA Bioware Victory)? Well, the game is cancelled and the studio is closed.

"Your feedback from the alpha trial is clear: We are not making the game you want to play," the post reads. "That is why, after much difficult deliberation, we have decided to cease production of this version of the game. Although we deeply respect the great work done by our talented team, ultimately it's about getting you the game you expect and deserve."

This was a game that we all had some very strong emotions about, often expressed very passionately. In memory of this game, shall we have one last stream of comments expressing ourselves?

"It's about what you want". Yeah right. What they mean is there weren't enough people interested in this, and few players = few micro-transactions.

Is this what Jon Van Caneghem was working on at EA? Quick, Ubisoft - hire him while you have the chance! :P

So... basically, they made a game nobody cared about, following down the same path of C&C4 which was fucking abysmal and nobody liked, even against the wishes and protests of their fans? I'm honestly surprised it even made it out of pre-production, and also quite surprised EA would waste all the work they did. Surely such a game could be re-configured into something people do want, rather than just firing everyone and scrapping the project.

I played the one that came in the EA bundle. Bored me to tears. Not sure why anyone liked this.

I didn't even finish the campaign in C&C1.
