Hello

Playing a bit the game I saw that when you enter in combat phase, if you use a sword and shield and have house close, you can run to the door and cover yourself so you will only fight 1 vs 1 where you can win almost any combat then even 4 vs 1 because only one can fight you.

I must say that I didn't play a lot as I don't want to spoil the game for me before the final release, so I don't know if this strategy is viable on a lot of combats or just one, but just wanted to share it because if later on the game you can do this on most of them, the mechanic would be a bit weak and broken and could be tweaked.

If not the case, please ignore me :P

The ranged enemies don't care about your bottleneck :p Otherwise, it is a viable tactic that I've used often.

Dude that is one of the oldest know methods of fighting. I played combat oriented build and even in open space with enough dex you can handle 5-8 people at once if you use your movement and abilities right. Especially DAT sword feints.

I would have to second this. My assassin just killed Selenas and it probably shouldn't have been possible for me, realistically. I ran into the northeast room and spammed arm attacks, fighting the guards one at a time in the doorway. It would be nice (in a masochistic way) if enemies were able to push you back into rooms when you're fighting them in doorways (kind of how they do when you approach and they push you from an AoO), or at least have the AI use feint and switch places with you.
