The TV also needs to be on a table or something, unless you enjoy neck pains.

Though wouldn't the first rune blast the remainder of the tome to shreds when going off?
What are the rules for Explosive Runes when their carrier item gets destroyed?
I also wonder what would be the best, non-suicidal use of such flipbook? Getting an undead/summoned/controlled servant flip through all of it right in front of powerful enemies?
SERIOUSLY?4# - Elder Scrolls Online
The voters are probably a mix of WoW burnouts looking for a new fix, and bethtards who have no idea that the MMO won't be anything like Skyrim.SERIOUSLY?4# - Elder Scrolls Online

Mentioning because Pillars of Eternity is in it
Most of Beth's customers play on consoles and so get no mods, and they are still very happy. Modders and heavy mod tend to stick with a game for a long time and talk about it a lot on the internet, which makes them seem more significant than they are. But sales-wise I think Beth would do fine without them. Not to mention people that first contact with RPG got with Oblivion/Mass Effect.
The most (only?) valuable thing in last 3 Beth abominations (2 of them are TES) was modding. Wonder what happen when it's gone in case of TESO...
Actually they kind of rebounded with Skyrim - still plummeting in terms of mechanical complexity (FFFUUUUUU-), but trying to bring back actual world design, lore and so on.Not to mention people that first contact with RPG got with Oblivion/Mass Effect.

Trying to remove them with dispel magic and failing causes them to detonate, so presumably ripping apart pages does the same.
Seeing as you and your allies can personally read the runes without triggering them, presumably you could just put the initial trigger rune on the cover of a book and just fling it at your enemy like a frisbee. The main question is on the strictness of the "read" requirement.
but, what about those enemies that cant read? like Orcs, Zombies etc?
When I DM I usually take the approach that the rules do not define a spell, they merely describe how it works when used for it's intended purpose. The actual magic behind the spell is far too complex and mysterious to be reduced to a short rules paragraph. Overly "creative" spell use tends to go poorly for the caster in some way he doesn't expect, and rules lawyers can just shut up.but, what about those enemies that cant read? like Orcs, Zombies etc?
Yes, that's the question. Most humans probably can't read mystic runes either. So where do you draw the line? There's also the fact that an omniscient being or the like could be considered "reading" the runes, causing them to randomly explode whenever you enter certain areas.
Does holding a mirror up to the runes and reading the reflection count? What if someone traced the indentations on the paper? Could they draw a replica of the rune based on that without exploding, and if so would reading the replica trigger the explosion? What if you held your hand over the top half of the rune, drew it, then someone else held their hand over the bottom half and drew that, then you put the two drawings together?
Lots of good stuff for rules lawyers to argue over.
A story set in the near future, about a middle-aged loser whose only refuge is a virtual bishoujo game.
That's a sad story .

This. Both of themI don't know what's worse popamolers or manchildren nostalgic for their console kiddie games.
It's simple: Everything is shit.I don't know what's worse popamolers or manchildren nostalgic for their console kiddie games.
What else would you use it for? It doesn't look practical for serious video games.
