He doesn't give a slightest fuck about make-believe "i-am-ERE-so-i-will-only-do-ERE-like-things" bullshit, because there is only his PC and him, and neither of them cares.

Clever boy

Oh. I don't know that. But still. I like Paradox games and they do great job but... they made too many DLCs. Now around 50? 45?
If you count the fluff dlcs (unit models and music). As far as real dlc / expansions go, they're up to I dunno six, seven? They do go way overboard with dlc, I agree.

If the tribal vassal levy mechanics can be modded to cover all vassals, feudalism in CK2 could suddenly become a lot more interesting.

Should be simple I'd figure. If precedent holds, tribal type titles will just have "tribal_levy = yes" line under them, which you can copypaste to cover all title types.

Sounds promising. That plus a huge nerf to retinues and suddenly vassal diplomacy becomes the main focus of the game.

How will that affect people who just use retinues and mercs?
It won't, I actually meant to write "retinues". fixed my post :)

Mercs are a different problem, the main issue is that it's too easy to save up loads of cash so that you can hire tons of mercs whenever you want for a quick campaign. Something should be tweaked to make them more interesting, but not sure what.

Maybe mercs should't be teleporting armies anymore?

I think you don't get it.

Make the game more of a chore to play? Your solution is just a tiny fix for the major problem that is that feudalism and vassal diplomacy is completely limited. It won't change the fact that Feudalism is non existent in wartime either, outside of the levies and bitchy rebelling vassals.

Leave it as it is, a map painting simulator with more stuff to do in peace time. It will never be a good feudalism game. Paradox cannot do that.

Never be a challenging game either, no matter how ''hardcore'' the fans like to brand it.
