[ Patch ]

Sci-fi 4X Distant Worlds had a recent overhaul.
Matrix Games and Code Force (www.codeforce.co.nz) are proud to release a massive new update for their award winning space strategy game, Distant Worlds! The comprehensive 1.0.6.0 update comes with dozens of changes and fixes which improve nearly every part of the game, specific emphasis has been placed on stability, balance, colonies, fleet and ship behavior, and interface improvements.

Specifically, there are more than 40 bug fixes alongside major features such as improved AI and automation, better fleet management, more realistic colonization (including habitat quality) and migration, improved planetary combat and rebellions, new per-ship and per-group engagement stances with defaults adjustable on an empire level, better game balance in terms of combat, economics and technology, major performance improvement including lower memory usage and much quicker saves and finally multiple interface improvements to make managing your empire a breeze!
On a side note, JarlFrank has promised to provide us with an in-depth Distant Worlds review in the near future. Be sure to harrass him via pm, email, or at home (address provided upon request) until he does so.

Thanks to Fuck_The_Banks for the tip

Does this update make much of a difference? I bought this game a while ago and played it some but it needed some serious patching to make it a really great game. I think it has HUGE potential.

JarlFrank needs to get his shit together and write his review.
