It's been 5 years since i played P:T for the first time, and 7 years since i first bought my copy of FO.
I remember when i traveled to Junktown, recognizing the voice of Killian(McGyver) the mayor.
And more when playing FO2, IWD et cetera

Yesterday when i searched the web for the bio of Ron Perlman(Name of the rose), i found out he did the VO for both FO and FO2 apparently. The fun thing is that i never recognized the voices of him or: Michael T. Weiss-The Predetor, Clancy Brown-Highlander, Homer Simpson, Sheena Easton, Mark Hamill
And still i must have replayed most of BIs games atleast a dozen of times

It was hilarious hearing these ppl VO.
Not only because they did an incredible job but also of the nostalgia, hearing the old 80s PRIME TIME actors again was priceless

Did any of you recognize them?

I hope Obsidian hire some of these guys for VO in KotOR2 or there next game

When I read that Dan Castlevania or whatever did the voice of Nordom, I didn't believe it. I've heard his real voice on NPR once, and he sounded nothing like Nordom.

Other times it's so obvious that I'm embarassed not to have realized it before I read the credits. Mark Hamill played Bek Storm in Starsiege, and I didn't realize it for maybe 5 years until I read it on imdb.com

Anyway, my favorite voice actors would have to be the ones who work mostly in voice acting only, like Jennifer Hale(Fall From Grace, PS:T) and Charles Adler(Ignus, PST and Harold, Fallout). They've got some really varied roles. Ms. Hale is practically in every other game or cartoon show.

I won't be happy until I hear Paul Robeson's voice used for a major NPC in a rpg.

Perhaps "Ballad for Americans" will be the "A Kiss to Build A Dream On" for the 21st century.

My favorite would be Jim Cummings (the voice of Minsc, the ogres, ogrillion and lots of other weird sounding characters) who plays a variety of retarded-sounding characters in cartoons, and also characters like like Goofy's neighbour in the Disney Goofy series, and grandpa gummi on the gummi bears.

Don't forget Set in FO1. That was a pretty good role, and not just because of the lines.

I really disliked her as Bastila in KotOR. I thought she gave perhaps the weakest performance of the game. I usually recognize her in, just as you say, just about every other game I play.

I've only heard her in PS:T and the two Metal Gear Solids and she did really well in them. But I can't recognize her voice at all. Her roles are so different that I can't pick it up even a little. Or maybe I just have really poor ears.

Yeah, it's fun to look at who does what, sometimes it can be surprising. Using http://www.imdb.com is good for that.

The Ninja in Metal Gear Solid 1 (also was Decoy Octopus, the DARPA Chief (I think) and one more guy..) is also Sulik in FO2.

Raven in Arcanum is also Sniper Wolf in Metal Gear Solid 1.

Gillbert Bates in Arcanum is also known as Elder Cain in Diablo.

The voice of Harold in FO1 is also Buster Bunny in Tiny Toons, Silverbolt/Duros (1984-1987)/Triggerhappy (1987) in Transformers, Low-Light/E6 Cooper G. MacBride in G.I. Joe, and Ignus in Planescape:Torment.

As a side note, Set was also The Master and Gizmo.

Mephisto in Diablo 2 is also the Colonel in Metal Gear Solid 1 and 2 and also the narrator of the Diablo games (both 1 and 2) and Pepin the Healer in the first one.

Sheena Easton was Annah in Torment.

Does anyone know who did Deionarra? Or Maralie Fiddlebender in IWD2?

Jennifer Hale did both Fall-from-Grace and Deionarra in Torment.

Maralie was done by Kath Soucie, the same woman who did Aerie in BG2.
