Paradox Interactive has just announced an expansion that will massively improve Mount & Blade's amateurish graphics by introducing eye-cancer inducing brightness! I've always felt that M&B needed more bloom, and I'm happy that something is being done about it!

Other features in the expansion are improved strategic AI, more diplomatic options and multiplayer battles.

Read about it here: http://www.gamersdailynews.com/story-8154-Paradox-Interactive-New-Titles-Announcement.html

This is good news but I don't think this is expansion material, maybe multiplayer, but that can be added as a patch.
Most of that stuff can be found in mods for free

Shouldnt they fix their craptacular main code, before adding more crap on top ?

There is a mod that already makes things look better. What I would love is if they added a story driven campaign. That would put this game over the top. It's already a fun game to come back to every so often, especially with the mods, but a campaign would be great.
