Just wanted to know if Darghul is going to be compatible with mac, linux etc.
If not, could you pleeease try and do so?

I recently purchased a Macbook and downloaded Teudogar and the Alliance with Rome but the game would not work after many attempts.
Hopefully a Mac version of Teudogar could be created but I hope even more that Darghul could be played on Mac's. Sad

Ok, at present, Teudogar and DARGHUL run on Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME, XP, Vista, and 7.

Unter Linux they should theoretically run if you've got the Windows Emulation software installed, but I don't know if they do. Anybody tried running Teudogar under Linux, and does it work? And what do you need? WINE, or anything else?

About the Mac I have no idea. Anybody else tried this?

Basically, the situation is like this IMO: Microsoft Windows sucks very much. But still, 90% of PC users keep using it. If Microsoft keeps releasing more stuff like Vista, I'd expect more and more Windows-users to move to other systems (personally, I definitively would; but so far most of my customers remain on Windows). But even if Microsoft's market share declines to 70 or even 60%, and the Mac/Linux share increases to 15 or 20% each, it'd still not be all that economical to develop games for these platforms.

Anyway, my way of programming is pretty system-independent. Basically, I think I can convert both games to almost every system without too much effort. I already did look into games programming under Linux, and already have plans on rewriting the low-level- and graphics- functions source code files for Linux, which would allow me to create a Linux version. (For the Mac, I'd have to research technology, licensing, software requirements and some other stuff first.)
