If not IWD2, I'm for a Total War LP later. There are already a lot of Paradox games LPs going on here, and the TW series seems unrepresented.

Well now I know what I'm fighting to I know how to counter it, and only that named spirit had the spell of instant death. Though in the next part we are entering another completely unknown area, I expect the death toll to increase greatly once more.

Fuck Total War, LP something manly, like W40K: Rites of War instead.

That game is kvlt and wanted to LP it too, but I'm afraid my LP of GROM will still keep going for quite some time.

Warhammer ... don't know about that, some game it will be most likely strategy or a tactical game.

We have a new area on the map, Gloom Frost, we head over there

Arrival at Gloomfrost
Oh I wonder why they call it gloomfrost, this place isn't gloomy at all...

Since I am a learning animal this time we send a scout ahead to look

Yeah they probably want to cuddle and rip your throat out...

Resist fire/cold on Strangerlove

The wolves use their frost breath for minimal damage, and since it is one use only they are now easily killed


Scouting further ahead


Some frost salamanders are encountered, we've dealt with their kind before so shouldn't be a problem

First a web spell...

... and then some fireball, damage bonus against these creatures

Some get through

No problem though

Another fireball is lobbed at the remaining lizards

Well thats taken care of, healing up and continuing


Looks like these guys did alright
Dwarves... what?

We find some flaming oil in their camp might be useful

Moar salamanders are encountered


Nor problem at all

Mediocre at best compared to what we have found earlier, can it be repaired?


Next up are some trolls
Trolls? TROLLS?! TROLLS! RAAAAAGE!

Mys uses his rage to turn into a flaming furious turd elemental

Beating up some trolls

A fire spell to hit them once they are down since Mys has a really shitty THAC0 as an elemental (can't use his weapon and get s a dexterity of 3)

We employ the same tactic as before and they are easily killed

Though it would seem they have a surprise for us, the surprise sex squad

Double stone skin should keep the mages alive

Trolls!

Not seen on image, a bunch of trolls running towards our polar bear in the fog of war

A proper distraction has been set up, and now, fire!

Seems our bear pal didn't like it though and turned on us

Almost through this place

A rather large group of trolls sighted, all not pictured

We set up target for the trolls using shield of lathander

We saw some Salamanders up ahead, Myszowor prepares with Entropy shield, giving him a large bonus to saving throw and 50% damage resistance to all types such a fire, physical or lightning

Since when does lightning damage that much Oo? Gloomfrost lvl 2 was my favourite IWD area visually, looks amazing imo. The mobs hit hard, but worth shittons of XP, but that's what summons are for.

Part XXII: Here there be trannies

After taking some damage it turns into wold and runs away

We stop by the fletcher to get some ammunition

Looking further ahead, what the hell are those things?!

no idea how strong these things are we summon some turd elementals and cast some beneficial spells.

Holy shit it does a lot of damage, this is going to be hard! Looks like we are going to have at least one character with fire resistance spells up at all times

Why do I suddenly feel like there is something behind me?

Yeah thats not good at all, one of them snuck up behind us somehow

It went down extremely quickly, and so does the other two, seems the fire damage is a random proc and so isn't so dangerous

I wonder if you could make clothes out of these things, it would look great I bet!

Maybe this is how that thing got up behind us?

Easy prey

Some mysterious bones, are they from these creatures or from something else entirely?

Suddenly one of these giant ice mole worms pops up behind us
I've got my club, I know how to handle this

And then one pops up behind us

That taken care of we finish the other two. These things may hit fairly hard, however the elementals are immune to them. Also they seem to have fairly high AC, resulting in us killing them off quickly

We are making excellent progress through these tunnels

More bones and worms are found further ahead

And they have eggs, large mysterious eggs found in a frozen cave in a frozen wasteland, this is reminding me of a certain movie

I wonder how they reproduce, actually scratch that, I do not want to know.

We move in and another worms comes from behind

Nearly through this level, considering the time it actually took playing through this, this has been some extremely fast progress


These things always seem to come in twos or threes, no real challenge

Umm... it looks like it's coming back this way!

Luckily most of it's power wore of on the worm things so it doesn't do much damage

One dead worm

Well that most likely isn't a worm...

In fact it is a dwarf, what is he doing here?

He sells some stuff, also he tells us some useful stuff on how we are to proceed to the end of this dungeon, we get mirror to get us in through the final door.

It appears the shield we found earlier was of his making, and he repaired it for us, making it pretty good.

We buy these boots for a mere one thousand gold

and a nice ring, should help against spells

and this is the mirror we got

We also helped him make this sword apparently, since he is blind and can not see. He said soemthing about it being his "life work", and we get it off him since he wants it to be used. Fair enough I never one to turn down a free heavily enchanted blade.

We continue to the next level of the dungeon

There sure is a lot of bottomless pits in this here dungeon

Another battle of the titans turds starts

They are not that strong though... really this is like a walk in the part compared a lot of the stuff we have been through so far, especially burial island. Let's never speak of that place again.

More elementals, most exciting

Were making some excellent progress on this level as well

Further ahead we walk straight into another trap

The party being filled by the power of rage and hate because of this kill it quickly

Looks like some golems caught themselves a worm, going fishing perhaps?

We send in turd elemental to fight them and Ad din casts chain lighting
Muwhahahahaha!

... and then it comes back
Muahahhah... oh shit


Same as last time though, most of the power has worn of

Stone shots a few arrows at the trapped worm and kills it off

Strangerlove levels up


We require additional minerals, thus we need to harvest some of these here elementals

We walk into another trap

Well I can't look for traps when I'm occupied by looking pretty can I?



The elemental evil has been defeated.

Further up ahead a door way opens up from the previously sheer ice wall

Going through we find an old woman, could this be who we were looking for?
















Alright know we know everything we need to encounter wylfdane and head back to the village first for some supplies and rest

All right, in the next update we go encounter a real live tranny.

There's a quest in town involving the werewolf you just met (and probably others too that you've missed and i can't remember).

Remorhaz and ice golem overkill? This is like IWD2 ice temple all over again, FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Already more than 10 days with no update. Plz fix.

Will fix in about two weeks, regular updates starting again then, then I hope to finish the game and the LP before classes start up again in January.

Those broken links must be the work of DU! Any way yeah took a bit of time, but I should start updating again tomorrow (possibly), christmas and such has gotten in between.
