Your right. I used shadow keeper to adjust stats after generating the characters but before importing them into the game. Something must not have worked.

I've been playing it safe while everyone was at lvl 1. Going to live dangerously going forward.

Also for some reason I forgot to adjust the difficulty to Hard Core at the start of the game.
