4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: I bid you welcome, pilgrim.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Stand aside.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: I cannot. It is my duty to protect the Urn.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Wow, that sounds terribly dull.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: There is joy to be found in my duty.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Let's not waste time. How do I get to the Urn?

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: You have come to honor Andraste, and you shall, if you prove yourself worthy.

facebron.jpg
Bro: So I have to fight you?

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: It is not my place to decide your worthiness. The Gauntlet does that.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: If you are found worthy, you will see the Urn and be allowed to take a small pinch of the Ashes for yourself. If not...-

facebron.jpg
Bro: I demand that you take me to the Urn.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: There is only one way to the Ashes, and that is through the Gauntlet.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Very well. I will enter the Gauntlet.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: Before you go, there is something I must ask. I see that the path that led you here was not easy.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: There is suffering in your past -- your suffering, and the suffering of others.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: You allowed yourself to be manipulated by Bhelen, and you murdered your elder brother, Trian.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: Do you think you failed Trian?

facebron.jpg
Bro: No. I only wish I had killed Bhelen too.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: Then you do not dwell on past mistakes -- neither yours, nor someone else's.

facemorrigan.jpg
Morrigan: One wonders what this Guardian's purpose is. Be wary of his traps.

faceleliana.jpg
Leliana: What's past is past. Why bring it up and open old wounds?

facesten.jpg
Sten: Parshaara. Leave the past where it falls.

facemorrigan.jpg
Morrigan: Is there any religion that does not thrive upon the guilt like a glutton at his lunch? No? I thought not.

faceleliana.jpg
Leliana: You could not have known what would happen. You did what you thought was best.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: And what of those that follow you?

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: And you... why do you say the Maker speaks to you, when all know that the Maker has left? He spoke only to Andraste. Do you believe yourself Her equal?

faceleliana.jpg
Leliana: I never said that! I--

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: In Orlais, you were someone. In Lothering, you feared you would lose yourself, become a drab sister, and disappear.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: When your brothers and sisters of the cloister criticized you for what you professed, you were hurt, but you also reveled in it.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: It made you special. You enjoyed the attention, even if it was negative.

faceleliana.jpg
Leliana: You're saying I made it up, for... for the attention? I did not! I know what I believe!

facesten.jpg
Sten: Demand whatever answers you want, spirit.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: You came to this land as an observer, but you killed a family in a blind rage. Have you failed your people, by allowing a qunari to be seen in that light?

facesten.jpg
Sten: I have never denied that I failed.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: And you, Morrigan, Flemeth's daughter... what--

facemorrigan.jpg
Morrigan: Begone, spirit. I will not play your games.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: I will respect your wishes.

4270403246_d01f66756a_o.jpg
Guardian: The way is open. Good luck, and may you find what you seek.

Sten approves +2

A room full of spirits. You'll have to crack difficult, difficult riddles.

Ealisay: The smallest lark could carry it, while a strong man might not.

4269658917_cec54ae61c_o.jpg
Ealisay: Of what do I speak?

facebron.jpg
Bro: A tune.

4269658917_cec54ae61c_o.jpg
Ealisay: Yes. I was Andraste's dearest friend in childhood, and always we would sing. She celebrated the beauty of life, and all who heard Her would be filled with joy.

4269658917_cec54ae61c_o.jpg
Ealisay: They say the Maker Himself was moved by Andaste's song, and then She sang no more of simple things.

Lady Vasilia: An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth,

4269659249_517768f866_o.jpg
Lady Vasilia: The debt of blood must be paid in full.

4269659249_517768f866_o.jpg
Lady Vasilia: Of what do I speak?

facebron.jpg
Bro: Vengeance.

4269659249_517768f866_o.jpg
Lady Vasilia: Yes. My husband, Hessarian, would have chosen a quick death for Andraste. I made him swear that She would die publicly, with Her warleaders, that all would know the Imperium's strength.

4269659249_517768f866_o.jpg
Lady Vasilia: I am justice. I am vengeance. Blood can only be repaid in blood.

Disciple Havard: Veiled in white, like a bride greeting her groom.

4270403774_5f23ae9945_o.jpg
Disciple Havard: Of what do I speak?

facebron.jpg
Bro: The mountains.

4270403774_5f23ae9945_o.jpg
Disciple Havard: Yes. I carried Andraste's Ashes out of Tevinter into the mountains to the east where She could gaze ever into Her Maker's sky...

4270403774_5f23ae9945_o.jpg
Disciple Havard: No more fitting a tomb than this could we find.

Disciple Cathaire: Lighter than air, sharper than any sword.

4269659323_d5b9d8be84_o.jpg
Disciple Cathaire: Comes from nothing, but will fell the strongest armies.

4269659323_d5b9d8be84_o.jpg
Disciple Cathaire: Of what do I speak?

facebron.jpg
Bro: Hunger.

4269659323_d5b9d8be84_o.jpg
Disciple Cathaire: Yes, hunger was the weapon used against the wicked men of the Tevinter Imperium.

4269659323_d5b9d8be84_o.jpg
Disciple Cathaire: The Maker kindled the sun's flame, scorching the land. Their crops failed, and their armies could not march. Then He opened the heavens and bade the waters flow, and washed away their filth.

4269659323_d5b9d8be84_o.jpg
Disciple Cathaire: I am Cathaire, disciple of Andraste and commander of Her armies. I saw these things done, and knew the Maker smiled on us.

The right row is done. Now the left one.

4270403880_7917c88847_o.jpg
Brona: Of what do I speak?

facebron.jpg
Bro: Dreams.

4270403880_7917c88847_o.jpg
Brona: A dream came upon me, as my daughter slumbered beneath my heart. It told of her life, and of her betrayal and death.

4270403880_7917c88847_o.jpg
Brona: I am sorrow and regret. I am a mother weeping bitter tears for a daughter she could not save.

Thane Shartan: Of what do I speak?

facebron.jpg
Bro: Home.

4269659421_165a1c9b02_o.jpg
Thane Shartan: It was my dream for the people to have a home of their own, where we would have no masters but ourselves.

4269659421_165a1c9b02_o.jpg
Thane Shartan: The enemy of my enemy is my friend, and thus we followed Andraste, against the Imperium.

4269659421_165a1c9b02_o.jpg
Thane Shartan: But She was betrayed, and so were we.

General Maferath: Of what do I speak?

facebron.jpg
Bro: Jealousy.

4269659479_f5ea90651d_o.jpg
General Maferath: Yes, jealousy drove me to betrayal. I was the greatest general of the Alamarri, but beside Her I was nothing. Hundreds fell before Her on bended knee. They loved Her, as did the Maker.

4269659479_f5ea90651d_o.jpg
General Maferath: I loved Her too, but what man can compare with a god?

Archon Hessarian: Of what do I speak?

facebron.jpg
Bro: Mercy.

4269659511_ab3c458419_o.jpg
Archon Hessarian: Yes. I could not bear the sight of Andraste's suffering, and mercy bade me end Her life.

4269659511_ab3c458419_o.jpg
Archon Hessarian: I am the penitent sinner, who shows compassion as he hopes compassion will be shown to him.

Prince Trian: Greetings, my exiled brother.

4270404272_4a8e902c80_o.jpg

4270404272_4a8e902c80_o.jpg
Prince Trian: You allowed Bhelen to make you his lackey. Are you proud of what you've done?

facebron.jpg
Bro: Are you trying to make me regret my actions, spirit?

4270404272_4a8e902c80_o.jpg
Prince Trian: Nay, you have made your feelings clear on the matter.

4270404272_4a8e902c80_o.jpg
Prince Trian: But the betrayals of Orzammar do not weigh down your steps. You have not faltered, and I am proud of you.

4270404272_4a8e902c80_o.jpg

Urn of Sacred Ashes: (These are the earthly remains of Andraste, Prophet and Bride of the Maker.)

Bro: (Pour the dragon's blood into the Urn.)

Urn of Sacred Ashes: (Before destroying the Ashes, you gather up some of it and place it in a small leather pouch.)

Urn of Sacred Ashes: (You uncork the vial of dragon blood, and empty it into the Urn.)

facebron.jpg
Bro: You spoke of a reward?

4263567611_235e43bc10_o.jpg
Kolgrim: Yes. It would be a grave sin to deny you your just reward.

4263567611_235e43bc10_o.jpg
Kolgrim: You will share in the power of the dragon. You will become one of the children of the risen Andraste.

4263567611_235e43bc10_o.jpg
Kolgrim: Behold... the blood of the dragon, drawn from the beating heart of a wyvern. Drink in the strength of a thousand generations.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Yes. I will do this.

facebron.jpg
Bro: The Urn? Yes.

4246714889_6e4248bdc5_o.jpg
Brother Genetivi: What... what was it like? Coming to the Urn, I mean?

facebron.jpg
Bro: It's just a stone flask with a burnt woman inside.

4246714889_6e4248bdc5_o.jpg
Brother Genetivi: It may be that to you, but means so much more to thousands of people.

4246714889_6e4248bdc5_o.jpg
Brother Genetivi: Perhaps my research will not seem so much like blasphemy to the Chantry now.

4246714889_6e4248bdc5_o.jpg
Brother Genetivi: We must organize an expedition. There is so much history here. It must be studied. And... and pilgrims should be allowed to come to the Urn.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Why? We should keep this secret to ourselves.

4246714889_6e4248bdc5_o.jpg
Brother Genetivi: But the Urn belongs to all the faithful. How can you deny this to them? No... we must share it.

facesten.jpg
Sten: Deny them a corpse? Unthinkable indeed.

facemorrigan.jpg
Morrigan: Yes. Share it. Spread the word and more will come under the Chantry's power. Is this not what you want?

4246714889_6e4248bdc5_o.jpg
Brother Genetivi: I will spread this good news, or die trying.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Then you will die. (Kill Genetivi.)

Is the main character the one that throws the dagger, or it's just an EXTREME animation (in other words you don't need to have knives in your inventory). Also, Leliana got killed and no-one of the party complained. :D :)

Can you prevent her of attacking you if you have enough influence?

And which things does that specialization include? Special abilities, or just a buff to your attributes?

Shame the story and characters are so badly written. The ability to kill and fight them is a fair bit of incline. Although the plot is like WTF.

Just an EXTREME animation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDJzFEaKN-4

No skill check or anything, boooooo.

That scene is indeed WTF due how over-the-top is, in fact, the guy should had died instantly, the only way for him to be able to stand and turn around before passing away was if he was (sort of) brainless, which is quite possible. :P

Wait, so it's not even possible to not take a pinch of ashes?

The whole thing there is kind of a missed opportunity, being able to choose between saving the Arl and getting his help or helping the cult and getting their help (or heck, getting both) woulda been good , but a bit difficult plot-wise.

Not really, unless I'm missing something.

Player: "We couldn't find the ashes"
Morrigan: "This was a fool's errand from the start"
Arl's Wife: "Oh noes!"
Arl: :dies:
Player: [Persuasion] You'll still help us, right? Your husband would have wanted you to.
Player: [Intimidate] You will help me avenge your husband's death! Loghain must pay!
Arl's Wife: :helps:
Alistair: :disapproves:

She doesn't need to know about the cultists, they're secretive and stuff. Knowing that they got together because of wasting all the ashes on whatever it was that it was supposed to accomplish would require some serious meta-gaming at that point.

Edit: Unless you refer to "You're the prince, you should do the right thing" business. First, Alastair knows it, and death of someone close to him might have pissed him off enough to do something for a change (although he would possibly blame the PC as well), and as for declaring him as a candidate for the throne at Landsmeet, well, I don't think the Arl would just walk in and say "Hay, this guy here is son of Marick, how about he's new king! No proof required cause I say so!" and get away with it. There must be some records or notes or whatever that could be shown to Landsmeet anyway.

I'm not sure I can go with you in thinking the wife has enough sway to convince the Landsmeet? Hell, it's pretty clear throughout that the Arl's personal reputation is what the entire plan hinges on.

Good try, no kiddin', but this is a classic case of BioWare having written themselves in a corner, where you need the Arl for the Landsmeet. And barring contrived deus ex machinas, I don't see any outs either.

AFAIK, yes.

And which things does that specialization include? Special abilities, or just a buff to your attributes?

Big room with cultist overseer. May be challenging if you'll try to rush.

Drakes will spawn out of nowhere if you get close to the overseer. LOL @ encounter design.

Rendon Howe: Err.. yes. Well, it seems that the fighting had gone exactly as you--

facequeenanora.jpg
Queen Anora: Enough.

facequeenanora.jpg
Queen Anora: I would like to know what you intend to accomplish, Father. Should we not be fighting the darkspawn instead of each other?

faceloghain.jpg
Loghain: The nobility shall be brought in line, and then the darkspawn defeated. This is no true Blight, Anora. Only Cailan's vanity demanded it be so.

facerendonhowe.jpg
Rendon Howe: Beg pardon, sire, but Blight or no, we may not have the manpower to face the darkspawn soon.

facequeenanora.jpg
Queen Anora: Cailan approached the Orlesians for support, did he not?

faceloghain.jpg
Loghain: Never! Maric and I drove those bastards out! We will not roll out the welcome for them now!

facequeenanora.jpg
Queen Anora: We need help, Father! We cannot deal with this crisis alone!

faceloghain.jpg
Loghain: Ferelden will stand on its own! I will lead it through this, Anora! You must have faith in me!

facequeenanora.jpg
Queen Anora: Did you kill Cailan?

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: Dead? Then... it was not a dream?

Arl Eamon: There is much to be done, that is true. But I should first be thankful to those who have done so much.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: Grey Warden, I know you did what you had to. I grieve for my son, but I believe that had you not acted as you did, it might have been far worse.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: I am in your debt. Will you permit me to offer you a reward for your service?

facebron.jpg
Bro: I need no reward from any human lord.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: Err... are you certain? I simply mean to honor your efforts, nothing more.

facebron.jpg
Bro: As you wish, then.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: Then allow me to declare you and those traveling with you champions of Redcliffe. You will always be a welcome guest within these halls.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: And for you, Warden, a shield of the same make as those that have been given to our finest knights.

facebron.jpg
Bro: I suppose this will do.

facebannteagan.jpg
Bann Teagan: We should speak of Loghain, Brother. There is no telling what he will do once he learns of your recovery.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: Loghain instigates a civil war even though the darkspawn are on our very doorstep. Long I have known him. He is a sensible man; one who never desired power.

facebannteagan.jpg
Bann Teagan: I was there when he announced he was taking control of the throne, Eamon. He is mad with ambition, I tell you.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: Mad indeed. Mad enough to kill Cailan, to attempt to kill myself and destroy my lands.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: Whatever happened to him, Loghain must be stopped. What's more, we can scarce afford to fight this war to its bitter end.

facebron.jpg
Bro: What are you proposing, then?

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: We have no time to wage a campaign against him. Someone must surrender if Ferelden is to have any chance at fighting the darkspawn.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Loghain must capitulate, then.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: I agree. Loghain will pay for heinous crimes. But our armies must be reserved for the darkspawn, not for each other.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: I will spread word of Loghain's treachery, both here and against the king. But it will be but a claim made without proof.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: Those claims will give Loghain's allies pause, but we must combine it will a challenge Loghain cannot ignore. We need someone with a stronger claim to the throne than Loghain's daughter, the queen.

facebannteagan.jpg
Bann Teagan: Are you referring to Alistair, Brother? Are you certain?

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: I would not propose such a thing if we had an altenative. But the unthinkable has occured.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Alistair would be a terrible king!

facealistair.jpg
Alistair: Hey! I'm right here!

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: Teagan and I have a claim through marriage, but we would seem opportunists, no better than Loghain. Alistair's claim is by blood.

facealistair.jpg
Alistair: And what about me? Does anyone care what I want?

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: You have a responsibility, Alistair. Without you, Loghain wins. I would have to support him, for the sake of Ferelden. Is that what you want?

facealistair.jpg
Alistair: I... but I... no, my lord.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: I see only one way to proceed. I will call for a Landsmeet, a gathering of all Ferelden's nobility in the city of Denerim. There, Ferelden can decide who shall rule, one way or another.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: The the business of fighting our true foe can begin. What say you to that, my friend? I do not wish to proceed without your blessing.

facebron.jpg
Bro: I say we proceed with your plan.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: Very well, I will send out the word.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: It will take some time to recall my forces and organize our allies. I would prefer to wait until that is doen before calling the Landsmeet.

4275739944_998f283fb4_o.jpg
Arl Eamon: In the meantime, I suggest you pursue the remainder of the Grey Warden treaties. We will need all the allies we can get if we are to defeat the darkspawn horde.

Now we have four options to pursue.

1) Circle of Magi
2) Brecilian Forest
3) Borezammar

or

4) Warden's Keep.

So, which one?

Circle of Magi --- it's just up the street and around the corner. Also, potential lulz factor is much higher.

Reaver, IMO, is not worth all the drama you have to go through to get it. I gave it to Sten, and it was practically useless. Berzerker or Champion are mo better.

What, you didn't use the horn and summon the dragon? He's an easy kill, and the scales come in handy later.

Well, that's true. And Twinkle's point on her being Orlesian. Then again, I still think it could be possible. First, to her being Orlesian - she is that, yes - but the Arl with spotless reputation had her as his wife, had a child with her, trusted her for years, and now he's dead, and his widow, infuriated, hurt, mad with hatred, appears before Landsmeet to deliver a bomb of a statement. Think about it, really. A woman, an orlesian to boot, comes to shame the local Arls for not having done a damn to save their own country, allowing an usurper, a traitor, a king-killer to start a civil war and kill them off one by one, no matter who they are, no matter their name or achievements or reputation.

Done well, with some good writing, acting and directing, this could have an enormous potential, and even if it failed (why not? there could be that option too - only some Arls support the Wardens in the end, and the Wardens end up having to kill Loghain so he doesn't interfere), it would still make the game have more memorable moments than awkward sex and "Enchantment" dwarf.

Problem is, we know we couldn't expect good writing even if it was full of cheese, nor a turn of events that would even pretend to stray from the normal path. Pipe vision, if you will.

4285901451_544a92f241_o.jpg
Carroll: Oh, you're a Grey Warden, are you? Prove it.

facebron.jpg
Bro: I don't have to prove anything to you.

4285901451_544a92f241_o.jpg

4285901451_544a92f241_o.jpg
Carroll: Uhhh... is that bad? Look, I'm uh, just trying to do my job.

Templar: Yes, ser.

facealistair.jpg
Alistair: The doors are barred. Are they keeping people out? Or in?

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: Now we wait, and pray.

facebron.jpg
Bro: So you're in charge?

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: Who are you? I explicitly told Carroll not to bring anyone across the lake.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: We are dealing with a very delicate situation. You must leave, for your own safety.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Not without a promise for assistance in the coming war.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: We cannot help, no matter which side of the civil war you represent. The Circle's fate hangs in the balance, and the templars that serve it must remain.

facebron.jpg
Bro: No, I need mages to battle the Blight.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: I am weary of the Grey Wardens' ceaseless need for men to fight the darkspawn, but it is their right.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: You'll find no allies here. The templars can spare no men, and the mages are... indisposed. I shall speak plainly: The tower is no longer under our control.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: Abominations and demons stalk the tower's halls.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: The Circle is lost. The tower has fallen.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Sounds like the templars haven't been doing their job.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: My men did what they could, but it wasn't enough.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: They took us down by surprise. We were prepared for one or two abominations -- not the horde that fell upon us.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Why don't you rally your men and kill them all?

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: I would destroy the tower, raze it to the ground, but I cannot risk more of my men. The doors remain shut and they will protect us for now.

facebron.jpg
Bro: That's no solution. Doors can be broken.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: We do not mean for the doors to stay closed forever. Everything in the tower must be eliminated.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: I have sent word to Denerim, calling for reinforcements and the Right of Annulment.

facebron.jpg
Bro: What does that mean?

facealistair.jpg
Alistair: The mages are probably already dead. Any abominations remaining in there must be dealt with no matter what.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: This situation is dire. There is no alternative -- everything in the tower must be destroyed so it can be made safe again.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Why wait? I could go clean the tower out now.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: I assure you, an abomination is a force to be reckoned with, and you will face more than one.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Abominations cannot stand against me.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: If you succeed, I would owe you much, enough that I would pledge my templars to your cause.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: Without word from Denerim, I must determine our course. Surely destroying darkspawn is a worthy goal.

facebron.jpg
Bro: We have an ageement, then.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: A word of caution... once you cross that threshold, there is no turning back. The great doors must remain barred. I will open them for no one until I have proof that it is safe.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: I will only believe it is over if the first enchanter stands before me and tells me it is so. If Irving has fallen... then the Circle is lost, and must be destroyed.

4286644860_0f935f062e_o.jpg
Knight-Commander Greagoir: May Andaste lend you her courage, whatever you decide.

facezevran.jpg
Zevran: Oh? Are you dispensing professional advice now?

facemorrigan.jpg
Morrigan: It simply occurs to me that if, say, Alistair were to become king of Ferelden he may have need of someone of your... talents.

facezevran.jpg
Zevran: From what I know of the fellow it seems there would be a fair difference between what he needed and what he cared to make use of.

facemorrigan.jpg
Morrigan: If Alistair becomes king, it would certainly not be through any brilliance on his part. Whoever puts him there... now there's the one who will need you.

facezevran.jpg
Zevran: Hmmm. Now that's an interesting thought. You've such a devious mind, my dear. Why have we not made love as of yet?

Morrigan: For what purpose? I would sooner stab you in the face than let you touch me, elf.

facezevran.jpg
Zevran: And somehow that makes the idea even more intriguing...

What awaits us behind this creepy door?

Correct answer: extreme GILFs.

Wynne: Stop right there! Take another step, and I swear I will strike you down where you stand!

facebron.jpg
Bro: Who are you to threaten me?

4286816240_e93d10c4f2_o.jpg
Wynne: I am Wynne, mage of the Circle, and these children are under my protection.

4286816240_e93d10c4f2_o.jpg
Wynne: Who are you, and what is your purpose here? Have the templars opened the door? Speak quickly -- I'll have no games.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Watch your tone with me, mage.

4286816240_e93d10c4f2_o.jpg
Wynne: Or what? I've dealt with every demon that has dared to threaten me and my own. You are a lesser menace than they.

4286816240_e93d10c4f2_o.jpg
Wynne: Knowing you must have been sent by the templars does not endear you to me. Now, I ask again: who are you, and why are you here?

facebron.jpg
Bro: I am here to deal with this pesky Circle once and for all.

4286816240_e93d10c4f2_o.jpg
Wynne: I see. And did they tell you that you had to kill apprentices? Children?

facebron.jpg
Bro: I will do what must be done.

4286816240_e93d10c4f2_o.jpg
Wynne: You're mad if you think I'll let you lay a finger on these children. I will fight you if you won't listen to reason.

facealistair.jpg
Alistair: We should gain a better understanding of the situation before rushing in, pointy-end of sword first.

facebron.jpg
Bro: This Circle must be destroyed, for all our sakes.

4286816240_e93d10c4f2_o.jpg
Wynne: If you insist on making war upon the Circle, we have nothing more to discuss. It comes to blows, then.

facealistair.jpg
Alistair: No, stop! You can't just attack her! She's protected the children; she's not the one we should be wary of!

facealistair.jpg
Alistair: I think she's a good person. There's a lot she could help us with.

facebron.jpg
Bro: Shut your mouth and fall in line.

4286816240_e93d10c4f2_o.jpg
Wynne: I will stop you, or die trying.

Alistair disapproves -5

Well, you were asking for it, granny. And about kids - they just disappear. :decline:

Twinkle is full of fake choices and consequences - decline!

Also, the apprentice rooms contain a bunch of clue notes, after getting all of them you can find a secret cache of potions and stuff. And I was able to use the Summoning Font bizznizz before clearing the tower, just when I came across it. It did feel a bit out of context, but meh, still got everything summoned and slaughtered like pigs.

lol @Knight-Commander's moaning of Grey Wardens constantly taking people away to battle the Blight, yeah, a Blight invasion happens every tenday, damn those Wardens for needing people to protect the world! Nicely written line right there.

Yeah, the summoning quest description tells you to wait, but you can just go ahead and do it the moment you get it.

Watchguard of the Reaching and the apprentice sidequest are both worth doing. I liked the tower, despite it being more or less another dungeon to trudge through.
