Since our last newspost about it, the Shadowrun: Hong Kong Kickstarter has met three more of its stretch goals, for enhanced sound, enhanced cyberware, and an additional companion - Gaichu, a former elite security operative turned ghoul. For the latest Kickstarter update, Harebrained put together a nice wallpaper image with all of the companions unlocked thus far:

It looks like the rate of funding has slowed now, though with the way the stretch goals are spaced out, I think we can still expect one or two more to be unlocked in the coming days. In the meantime, Harebrained Schemes have also begun to offer behind-the-scenes interviews with the game's developers, starting with lead environment artist Tristin Ishmael. You can read that in this morning's Kickstarter update, which also comes with a celebratory video.

Really digging the ~racial diversity~ of the companions. Looks like five's all they plan to do, which is also good as far as scope goes. I'll probably stick with the first three for the most part since drones and melee aren't my preferred playstyle. :M

About to reach half a million and still a month to go...
And two stretch goals around the corner, before the Matrix revamp...
Maybe we will have to wait until monday to discover the other stretch goals...

P.S. seems they've found someone to overlook the KS page 24/7. Was about time.

Bottom of the latest update. Its just an offhand remark but even that is annoying given she feeds off this kind of slimy association.

We're probably not going to hit the matrix revamp until the end of the Kickstarter. Though maybe we'll see a rush of stretch goals then.

Insert clever insult here
Celebrity worship. Of which Felicia Day is the prime example. She is talentless hack but because she was the "first" to start a Youtube show about nerds, we're all supposed to fucking lick her toes. HBS buying into that pointless bullshit is scary.

I think I could handle felicia day as a optional npc if it meant the filthy neckbeard cash that came with it got the astral plane into the game and future modules.

There's no voice acting so you don't have to worry about her annoying voice.

I liked Day as Veronica Santangelo. Anyway, i only know she has a cult in the US, but in France, we only see her in minor roles in TV shows. There must be something else.
Anyway, let's hope we won't have to wait more than a couple of day to reach the Matrix revamp and see what next.
For now, it seems to keep the 100K/day rythm.
