A four minute trailer for Tindalos's RTS, Etherium, has been released. The trailer shows off the factions available to play as and the gameplay mechanics that make up the game.

Myeah. Why do most new RTSes fail to show any sort of personality? It might be a fantastic game, fuck knows, but it just looks so generic at a glance.

First I thought it might have something to do with transition to 3D, but weeeeeell, Homeworld, Ground Control/2, Age of Mythology, they all have their personality (especially worth considering the GC games, because they're of the "planetside sci-fi" variant"... Guess it could be the outcome of low budgets and different scopes, but goddamn I wish units and worlds looked less generic.

Seems like a pretty good concept.
It does look rather generic, yes, but I don't really care as long as the rest is fine. It's not like it's about zombies.

Graphic vise reminds me somewhat Supreme Commander with simplified game play.
