Human Resources, Uber Entertainment's second Kickstarter, has been cancelled.

They have not given any specific details about what will happen to the concept, whether they'll retool it for another Kickstarter or abandon it completely.

Would play RTS (or similiar genre) where you spend useless humans (like archeology/marine biology/economic etc. degree) on...things. Awor would pirat it pay and make review for Codex.

This wasn't about the genre (rts doesnt interest me though) but shady business. They got an insane amount of money for their first project and immediately take on another one.

More like that already had record of dropping unfinished titles. They pushed PA way to early out of EA and people got burned as they thought they will drop PA as well soon.

Idiots. They should first polish PA enough.
Double idiots because they fucked it up going into shady tactics like selling Early Access game @ retailers and above.

They released their first project. It being less than stellar (although still massive and highly ambitious) is what put me off. Still, they did release it and them looking for more funding for their next project doesn't seem shady at all.

Problem was their track record and progress on PA.
PA was in early access and game even now doesn't look like anything more than Early Access but it is released with features added frequently.
Imo they shoot themselves in foot releasing PA in this state and people simply said "nope i will not fund another project from them unless PA is finished"

First they should address problem with their previous game (they dropped it completely)
Then set 1.0 features clear and release 1.0 as premiere.

After that they would be able to do that KS.

edit:

Their kickstarter reminded me of that shitty Romero kickstarter 2in1 RPG that backfired.
