A kickstarter for a turn-based wargame called Wars and Battles has begun.

The game plans to be released with only battles, Gettysburg 1863 and Normandy 1944. Upon release, they will release a new battle every two months.

It will be released on PC, Mac, and iOS should the fundraiser be completed.

I'm kind of interested, but the pledge rewards are so shitty that I'll just wait for the reviews after the release before spending any money on this. :cool:

Also, "You will be able to play Wars and Battles solo thanks to the Artificial Intelligence we are currently designing" does not bode well.

Single battles and the one with the biggest kwan-appeal that have been done to death. No thanks, especially not if they focus on multiple eras which means the rules will be abstract as fuck shit.
