For those who don't know, Chaos Chronicles:

... combines the traditional turn-based roleplaying games with a state-of-the-art graphic engine and a dense atmosphere.

We want to revive the classical western party-based fantasy RPGs of the eighties. Games like Phantasie, Pool of Radiance, Ultima, Wizardry, Bard’s Tale were part of our childhood and now it’s time to create a new game offering the gaming experience that those excellent games already delivered back in those good ol’ days!
  • Back to the roots! Chaos Chronicles uses a turn-based fighting system (hexgrid!) that will put a smile on the face of every fan of traditional RPGs
  • Lush graphics meet old-school feeling! Chaos Chronicles combines a lavish look with the dense atmosphere of the Dungeon Crawlers of old.
  • Wanted: A new hero! A comprehensive character editor ensures that every player can build his very own hero.
  • Travelling becomes retro-epic: A world map allows travelling like in good old times, as role playing games were still role playing games

... and their official forums are now hosted on the Codex! Check for them under our cRPG Hosted Forum Pool and discuss!

These are great news!

Now the devs can spend more time posting on the codex and less time finishing the game.

This is fucking great. By the way it would be nice if they also add a Jagged Alliance: Back in Action subforum there. After all, Chaos Chronicles developers made that game too.

Waaaaait wait wait wait wait wait wait!

So now, when Kotaku covers promising indie game #43 and some dumbfuck kotakuer is gonna want to go the the dev forum to give his feedback on the need for d0rf romances, they are gonna get a codex account for it? This sounds like a really retarded move.

Are you kidding? Watching idiots like that come here and get their asses handed to them would be nothing but pure entertainment.

What an excellent idea----certainly one of the most anticipated games of late and that's saying quite a bit.

Future Kotaku review: HALP! CANNOT PLAY WITH XBOX CONTROLLER!!!11 GAME IS CRAP!! 1/10!!.

That? Imagine the cries over no checkpoint saves. Or over no saving in dungeons (if that's actually confirmed, I'm not sure).

Have you any idea how many retards there are on the codex? Our retard-away system is not exactly well functioning.

It seems I'm able to brofist in the CC forum (and only there). I doubt it is intentional to accommodate newly registered CC fans.

Ugh, not sure why you decided to have a dump like rpg codex host your forums. Very Unprofessional. Just read the “greeting” message at the top when you click to enter the forum. This is a place well known for being full of juvenile and idiotic trash talking. I must say my anticipation for this game just went down a notch, when I see this type of decision.
Comment on the CC main page. Man, I wish this game had a bigger following. Imagine the implosion of butthurt that would take place.

Perhaps he meant the daily antidote thing. Or the internets thing before it got taken down.
