The Old Gods seems to be coming along quite nicely judging from this gameplay footage. The raiding, pillaging and traversing rivers was already known but it does appear that the Old Gods will bring quite a few other additions as well. Check it out.

And according to this interview it won't be the last mayor DLC for Crusader Kings II. So, what will be next? A theocracy themed one? General gameplay changes? Zombies?

Strategy Informer: What lies beyond The Old Gods? Is this still a continuing process, is there still a lot you want to do with Crusader Kings II?

Henrik Fåhraeus: Yes. The Old Gods is the last major DLC that we planned and had ideas for early on. We still have a lot of loose ideas kicking around, and there is a new plan that we are working on, but I can’t really say much about it! There will definitely be more major DLC for Crusader Kings II.

Tantalising.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Zombies are boring. I want a theocracy DLC instead. Teutonic Order State and Papacy ftw. Especially Papacy, so you can play a ruthless renaissance-style pope who cares more about increasing the political power of the Papal State rather than being a religious leader.
