Dragon Age 2, which recently went gold, was given PC Gamer's Editor’s Choice Award and described as “darkier, sexier, better.” Yes, darkier.

Satisfying, lightning-fast combat and spectacular spacial moves helped Dragon Age 2 to take the PC Gamer Editor’s Choice award, but the game excelled in other areas, too. A conversation system that doesn’t restrict you with an arbitrary morality meter and the huge, evolving city of Kirkwall help to fill Dragon Age 2 with “more character and vitality than any title in recent memory”.

They say "darkier." Yet, "darkier" is not a word. CAN'T EXPLAIN THAT!

But will there be choices?

WILL THERE?!?!
Are there any really big decisions Dragon Age II? Do my choices matter and are there consequences?

Yes. Absolutely there are choices. There some biggies, some of which will haunt you throughout the game. Especially near the end there are some big ones. The fact that the story is told by Varric doesn't mean there's only one ending. It's about one question: why did the champion of Kirkwall do what he or she did? When you answer that question you've finished the game. There's no big evil to defeat.

How's that for a definitely vague answers? It's a 100% maybe.

So they do a ME2 ending?

Maybe Hawke gets (your sister) pregnant and he has to defeat a giant baby? And then he can do this choice?

Drakengard did that though. (Well without the choice. ... And the pregnancy (at least I fucking hope so)

Apparently Rich McCormick wrote the review and he was the one who admitted he repeated what the art director told him to say in a preview so we really don't have much of a freethinker here. Add in all the usual elements about how reliable an early review could possibly be, etc.

C'mon its clearly there, there are big choices with consequences that haunt you throughout the game. These choices can be found especially near the end.

Translation: There will be a choice that can be made arbitrarily and regardless of all previous choices that makes you into either the good guy or the bad guy and this choice happens near the end of the game(see KOTOR).

Around the same amount bw paid VD for saying DA is the best rpg since Arcanum, meaning 10 times as much as they paid codex faggots for voting DA best rpg of 2009.

Should've been "darkier, sexier, bettier" for the sake of stylistic consistency. Fucking journalists.

Also, what's with nomming heads around the Codex lately?
